2Legit2Quit - Have you found any coaches that are on anti-depressants, used to wet the bed, or have histories of mental illness in their families? Because I'm thinking you may as well do some digging and post it here. I mean, the Rocketcorner's right to know supercedes its right to exist...

Last night sent my top 3 to a certain person with influence and talked about the pros and cons. Will wait and see who is hired. Whoever is hired good luck and keep the program on its current course.

Still going with the Loramie coach....
Always a watchful eyes on those Tiffin Calvert Senecas, Marion Local Flyers, Fort Loramie Redskins , New Albany Eagles.

Just got to remember....Board has final say....They have to make it work with teaching positions and pay. Talked to Mertz..and he was tight lipped but said not to worry. They are looking for a coach to continue on what we have going and someone that will not use us as a stepping stone.

Glad to be back. Damn back surgery had me laid up for a few weeks. I would bet on Matt Burgbacher. He is a bright young man and I think our kids will love playing for him. Loramie has been pretty successful under his watch.

When will a decision be made?

If Coach Patterson is picked over for the coaching position does he leave wapakoneta and joins coach frye in St. Marys or does he stay and coach on the new staff?

does anyone know if any teaching jobs will open up? Is there any staff members that are close to retirement or plan on retiring? I feel that could be a factor within this whole interviewing process...I assume Frye's job at Wapak will still be open next year, correct?

Interesting was told this as well by someone he coached. Was told Wapakoneta will want to steer clear. He's worked with good programs, but has never developed one. Was told he was a train wreck at Edgerton as a head coach, but no talent either. Now has inherited a developed program but is looking to get out with the graduating seniors because there is nothing in the cubboard at genoa anymore. Also has never played football in hs and was a member of a Liberty Center basketball program that set the record for consecutive losses in the state.

Interesting comments about Spiess.

I guess if you have won a lot of games the last few years, you have a lot of enemies. In the last 30 years, how many successful coaches have been at Wapak? Do these coaches have any common traits?

I'm not sure about any teaching openings, I have heard talk of some teachers retiring. I would think that Coach Frye's job would definitely be open.
