After looking up some of these guys 2 people stick out to me as "wild cards."
Don Sizer from Batavia. Coached some really good teams and a few 10-0 teams. Batavia team went 10-0 during regular season and I believe won a playoff game last year. From what I've found about him he resigned after Batavia had not gave him a teaching job, he is a PE teacher at Western Brown.
The other name is Todd Miller. Anyone know if this is the Pine Creek coach in Colorado? If so successful coach in Colorado whose won a state championship.
Any other wild card names there that could come in and blow the socks off of the committee and get a look?

Yes. Brother just took Upper Arlington job. My guess is that he's also applied for the Jonathan Alder job.

Why would you make comments about a coach's personal life on a public message board?

Tim was almost a co-coach at Liberty Center in the 90's when they won 100 games and a state championship and has been a co-coach with Vicars @ both Delta and Genoa. Been the Head Coach the last two years at Genoa and has done an excellent job. Would be around for 6 years since he has a 7th grade boy.
Wingt guy, but is way ahead of the curve on both offense and defense. How do I know? Coached against him many times. How many times did Inselman beat LC and Delta while Tim was their?

As for head to head matchups between the two, I think I have worked them out. I think Spiess was at LC from 1990-2004, with Inselmann starting at PH in 1991. LC won 4 of the first 5 meetings as LC was a state powerhouse in those early years and PH was struggling. Inselmann won in '96 and '97 with LC winning the playoff rematch in what was essentially the state final game in '97. PH went through a "down" period from 99-01 with LC winning five times, including a playoff game in 2000. In the last three years they met PH won 4 times by a combined score of 147-57 (ave 37-14). PH went on to win a state title in 2005.
In Spiess' time @ LC, they made final four in 92,93,97,98,99 and 00. Runner up in 93 & 98 and champs in 98.
In Inselmann's time @ PH, they made final four in 04,05,07 and 09. Champs in 05. From 04-12, PH played in regional final game 7 of the 9 years (not in 06 or 10). In the streak of 11 straight years in playoffs (2002-2012), PH lost first game in only two years (02 versus DSJ and 06 versus Fairview where they lost 52-49 to Ryan Radcliff). In 04 and 07 they lost to state champ, in 08 & 09 they lost to Liberty Benton and Coldwater who were both beaten by Ursuline in the finals.
So it is really hard to compare against each other as LC was a power when PH was down and coach Spiess left LC right when PH was becoming a power. From 1996-2004, Inselmann was 6-5 against LC, winning the first 2 and the last 4.
