Breezer Wapak always has a good back. Frye has had Erb, Pickens , Miracle, and then Shmerge never missed a beat with backs. I've have seen backs 5'10 190 u could run power football with.

Coach Shriner was seen last weekend at the High School Football Coaches Clinic taking in a few seminars and also talking
with some people in "Redcoats".......don't know if it means much, but a 45 minute drive for an extra $15,000-20,000 per year
just might perk his interest.......
Shriner has 2 vowels in it. So does Wapak.

Shriner = Wapak

A lot of good athletes who can run the ball. Henderson, Lauck, Morgan, Metz. Throw a big body in front of them at FB like Shriner usually has and you can do some damage.

You might get that out of Morgan in the spread system. Kodi was a Kenton target before his freshman year mauk must of seen a future QB in him hmmmm

We tried the spread in the pass and had no luck. You have to have an awesome o-line for the spread.

Under the right training I think Huffman would be a killer quarterback.

The interviewing process should begin real soon, heard they were going to pick the top 6 applicants and give them an interview. I just hope the board and the hiring committee make good decisions. Has anyone heard who is part of this hiring committee?

I haven't heard, and I haven't had time to ask a friend of mine who was on it last time.

Why in the HECK would a coach like Shriner want to coach at wapak?
Because they are D2 and OG is D3?
WHy what would be the benefits for him to go there?
Pay cant be better dont they go by tenure?
WHat about facilities?
Didnt OG get ne weight room and weights.
And new locker room?
Heck i have heard people say that if Shriner has another excellent season if he asked for Turf they probably find way give it to them.

OG is Div V not III

With that said... OG is not down..one bad year (if you call 6-4 bad) but this coming season they will have some very good talent coming back...very excited to see them play including my son. I think OG will be just fine but I do hope Ken stays at OG. Hes is a good coach and a great mentor to the kids. I personally don't see him leaving but you never know.

I still find it hard to believe Ken Schriner would leave OG but I think he would be a good fit for our kids if they do go outside to hire a coach. It will be interesting to see if any of the internal coaches who applied get an interview.

Shriner is not a candidate. Hearing Bill Speller from Wayne Trace. Patrick Henry's Bill Inselman. Bucyrus' Jake Bruner. Defensive Coordinator Shane Patterson.

IF Shriner has applied................he is the only candidate that Wapak should even consider.......I don't care if Tressel applied :shrug2:
IF he hasn't, and this is all smoke up my rear.........well then, I suggest they try Zerbe
home to the "Flounder & Rocketman's" Girls HS rankings
