MVP? maybe for a game but certainly not the season... He was about their 5th option at best on that team.... Pardon, Dudgeon, Pollack,....

That kid that didnt even try?
Does he exist because if he is from Lima area everyone knows that they can come to any of Q workouts or Tier One workouts if they dont have money.
Would love to know how you think you know so much about Quincy.
If i recall earlier post you compared him snake grass.
I know opinions you have yours.
But have you experienced any of this so called snake stuff personally?
Glad to see other people starting to see through you.

I'm going to try to explain this one last time. I don't know if the kid exists or not. It was a hypothetical situation, that I would think happens more that you want to admit.

I never said I knew alot about Quincy. My opinion was based on things he's done in Lima and the way he handles himself on TV and the radio.I compared Quincy to a "snake oil salesman" not a "snake" or "snake grass". Whatever that is. If you don't know what a "snake oil salesman" is look it up or google it tomorrow while you are setting at home because school is canceled. :)

please.......Rabe would have been the 5th option.....Pollock scored mostly off garbage....Dudgeon was the real player on that team followed by Pardon........and yes, Frankie was the state MVP....also, Frank went on to play at Defiance and had a pretty good career there......he will remain at LCC for as long as he wants......

Concerning this Quincy guy.....coaching high school is very different than coaching AAU........I would be surprised if this Quincy guy was ever named head coach at Lima Senior.....heave forbid!!!!!!

Flounder you do realize that simpson coached many years in the lima senior program under a number of different coaches. Had a few undefeated seasons as jv coached and lost a power strugggle with allen for the job. His aau experience is tied to his kids. He couldn't do any worse than kill or allen.

Pardon was the best player on that team, period. To say Pollack scored on garbage is laughable. Just because Frank played at Defiance doesn't make him any better. Pollack contributed at ONU for a year before switching over to football where he had a nice career until a back injury curtailed his SR season. Dudgeon was a real nice player and had a great career at Malone. So Frank was 4th option at best... I'm sure Coach Evans wasn't drawing up sets for Frank on that team and I'm equally sure opponents weren't thinking of ways to stop Frank Kill. Decent player on a great team.

I'm pretty sure Rabe did start school at Bath, moved to Shawnee district but went to LCC, then transferred to Lincolnview.

Kill isn't going anywhere. But I wouldn't be suprised if Quincy ends up with the lima senior job at sometime. Likely sooner than later. And yes I know AAU and school ball are two different beasts, but he's won everywhere he's been, he knows basketball and most importantly he knows how to get to kids and get them to play ball at their highest level.

Agreed!
I have been saying this forever.
He has won everywhere he has coached.
From little kids, AAU, JV, College (OSU Branch), Lima Explosion, King James Shooting Stars
If he takes Lima Senior job (which should been his last time) Lima Senior would be 5-8 wins better every year Allen has coached.
The kids at Lima Senior have no respect for Allen.
And having watched many of his games he is a horrible coach!!!!!

The only people that care about JV sports is the jv players and parents. The best part about being a JV coach is that you only have to coach. You don't have to worry about being the head of the program and all that goes with it. The head coach takes care of everything else.

Good point no school ever hires a jv coach to take over the program. No jv team ever loses its best players to the varsity during the season. It is easy.

To those who question whether the powers at LCC will allow Coach Kill to continue no matter what results that the Tbirds have.......I ask a simple question??

Will district or regional appearances (OK, I'm conceding sectionals) continue to appease the "Country Club Crowd?"

What's attendance at the LSr/LCC game usually like?

FOLLOWING....Have you been to any other games this year?? Really tired of hearing how bad attendance is for LCC. LCC has a nice size gym for a school its size, it sits 2500. Yet, if you want to compare....I attend two games in one weekend this past Jan at Shawnee... Shawnee/OG...Shawnee/DSJ. Both of those away schools had more people at the LCC games then they did the Shawnee games (and the LCC/DSJ game was played last night with the biggest snow storm to hit this winter yet). The student section for SHS on Saturday night had enough students that I could count on two hands. With the Home gen admin side having maybe 25 people in attendance. Reserved wasn't really any better either either....Lots of empty seats. People that did go were mostly parents and those that have been going to the games for some time, who'es children have already graduated. I have pictures to back up my claim and even sent some to Slicer that night of the game. I'm not in no way picking on Shawnee or it's attendance, that is not my intent. I am just pointing out- from games I have attended this season, attendance is down.

This is one game that is usually a huge crowd for both sides, no matter which school is host. LCC-LSH will play this coming Tuesday 2-11 at LCC.

Lincolnview fans gave their former player and LCC's present coach a real nice introduction at the game last Friday night between the Lancers and the T-Birds.

Sounds like the small public schools are the ones with the problem, get better to beat the other teams. Much like Crestview has!!
