Obviously things went bad...the coach in waiting is not named yet.

Badman, the process has to work its way out.........not certain that Palte has turned down the job yet. The LCC brass is still trying to make this happen but getting Palte into the STERS system is the sticking point......as soon as they can get Shawnee on board this still might happen......as soon as we hear more you'll be the first to know........RM

Not sure who the next LCC football coach will be but I am predicting that in 2017 or 2018 Jerry Cooper will be back at LCC as head football coach in a Bobby Petrino type move. Rocket will make it happen because he will be bored for the next couple years :-)

If LCC does not give it to Palte because they have no job for him than who in the world are they going to give this job to? They created a position for Cooper...you would think they would do the same for Palte.

As I said before, I dont believe palte has same qualifications as cooper did for that teaching job. I dont think its that lcc doesn't have an opening, I think its that palte doesn't want to take a pay cut and I dont blame him.

I just did a google search on this guy.....seems that he has applied at a LOT of schools for head coaching positions the last few years......it says he is the golf coach for a Toledo-area school.........I can't see what everyone's getting their panties in a bunch over this guy.....I don't see this happening.....

Carpenter...no way, Lindeman...no way, has it too well at DJ teaching wise, Palte...yeah,if they can get him a job like they did for Cooper, Zerbe...I just don't see it. Has this job even been posted or a deadline set for applying?

Sources close to the K of C are hearing that a decision is near on Palte.......meeting held this week at Shawnee CC
with the "heavy hitters club" in attendance......the firm on Market St. still trying to get the public school to the south
to open up an administrative position........should have something by next week......RM

It's a shame Mike "Kaz" Cramer has been relegated to coaching golf at the HS level. This all stems from the bad rap he got at Marion Local where he actually set the table for their recent success.

This is classic stuff...... Big shots meeting at the country club, big money players, such a joke. I can't believe I didn't get invited to these clandestine meetings. So many people who have no clue about LCC and what goes on Does anyone even go to the Shawnee country club anymore?
