maybe ole Captain Brinn could come out of retirement and do his rankings like he did on the huddle.....now those were stellar rankings

You Convoy people stick together.........Maxpreps had Marion with only 1 loss to Minster, and I believe the AP did also......with the weather the way it was during those 3 weeks, it was hard to keep up on things........and Brinny told me that his age made him quit his rankings.........maybe you should put out some rankings CTX..........well, maybe not......We Know Girls High School Hoops!!!!!

Maysville over Thornville Sheridan tonight 60-49. Maysville is now 15-0 on the season and has won 39 of their last 40 games.

Wow. some of you really get upset when a team loses they should drop out of the rankings immediately. You have to consider the whole program. Year to year. injuries, toughness of schedule and yes the coach. Example, Marion Local will be a very hard out come tournament and probably are one of the better teams in the state. By the way New Knoxville is NO slouch either. I don't think some of you understand that some leagues are much better than others and good teams could have several losses.

Anyhow, the rankings look great too me and I have a feeling Zanesville Maysville are being noticed!

Zanesville Maysville with two wins this week - 75 to 46 over Morgan and 52-35 over Columbus St. Francis De Sales (13-3) tonight . They had a 25 point lead at around the 2:00 of the 3rd quarter and started to sub. No De Sales' girl scored more than 6 points and she was the only one with 6. They move to 17-0 on the season and 38 straight regular season wins and 41 of the last 42 games.

Really ? 2 polls 18 games into the season, might as well wait till after the tourney is over now to show your next rankings and prove to everyone how right you were and how wrong the AP was. At least they make an effort.

For those of you that think these rankings are a piece of cake you should throw your hat in the ring. I would also like to say of all years this would be a nightmare. With cancelations an make up games, more cancellation, I could never keep track of more than 10 schools. We are talking 4 divisions all over the state and over 400 plus schools. I would guess your favorite team is not listed or listed to low is why these rankings upset you.

Enjoy them and relax. Good teams do get beat and some of the good teams will get upset during the tourney. Enjoy the season and I truly believe they are very close to ranking teams where they need to be!

Never said they were easy .

Also never said i could do this. But also not the one that says I know and no one else does.

Never said we should be ranked in fact in the past I have posted that they were wrong when they did have us ranked as we are not and were not a top 10 team. As Arlington and Carey and a few other really good teams around here have proven to us over the last couple of years.

Just enjoy the debates that normaly follow.

I am enjoying the season but it will be over soon.

I think what mr donuts means is that the last week of the season is coming up and the "We know girls basketball" experts have only had 2 polls out.

Not sayin its easy or that I can do it, but if I claim to be an expert, i would try to show it more than twice a year. Anyone can wait for regionals and say "i predicted that"1

If you've followed the Rocketman and Floundear's rankings for any amount of time, you'd know this is the most uncharacterist showing there's ever been.
I have no idea why the lack of material this year; but, their expertise has ALWAYS out shown the AP's polls, year after year, with the RM and Flounder's Polls normally beginning before the season ever starts and WAAAAAAAAY before the AP even begins thinking about concocting their first poll (uneducated, biased votes, in most instances, IMHO ) of the season.
I have never understood the value of ANY poll, sports related nor otherwise, but, have always enjoyed the added entertainment value of RM and Floundear's contributions--along with the friendly banter that they create AND they will actually respond back to your inquiries/displeasures/praises--Something you won't get with the AP.
So, as coach has stated: sit back, relax and enjoy them for what they are (or, are not )
