Im still not in 100% that he has the St. Marys job. Im probably wrong but I know one of the names that wanted the job and the influence he has. Plus 2 jobs given to his kids when there are none after talking to a teacher in the system. Plus not sure if Gus is on board with this.lol

He is gone! Trust me he is returning to St. Marys. There are a few coaches Wapak should consider

1. Bryan Rioch from Anna: He is a constant winner and is someone who is ready for the next level.

2. Adam Doenges from Sidney: He turned an aweful 0-20 teams at Sidney to competative again. I think that says something for him.

3. Patterson: He has been with Frye for a little time now and may continue to build on what Doug has done at Wapak.

I don't know if any of these Coaches are interested in an other coaching positions but they are a few guys who I feel do nice jobs and have made differences at their programs.

Rioch wont leave Anna but i can tell you he's starting to wear on some of the Parents and others within system

Doenges isnt going anywhere either

Yhea the writing is on the wall I guess. Sad a coach will leave a up and coming program with alot of talent present and coming up to go to a 0 win team the last few years. Tells alot about our program.

They would work too but I think others are more realistic lol I just think small school coach would want to move up and Fell isn't goin to win big at Lima IMO had few athletes but need more he needs a team ..

Some Elida people wouldn't mind it but he said he isn't going to leave anytime soon or unless he does something dumb again.

On a serious note, Todd Erb? Mark Law? Names I would think they would be considering. Both are long time Wapak guys. Or bring them in together. Both like to run the spread and with the athletes that Wapak has they can win now and keep reloading. They have two good QBs in place in to be senior (Morgan) and to be junior (Huffman).

I have nothing against the names you mentioned but not the direction we need to go. These names are tied to the old Skins that was happy to go 5 and 5. Coach Frye showed that new blood in the system worked well and overnight there was a change. Need to find a established coach to keep program on the right direction. I cant say I loved the wing and fling but we won with it. A spread offense I do believe we have the talent to run it but would like to see Morgan move to WR or RB and bring Huffman in as QB. It really sucks having to type this thought Frye would stay a few more years.

Solution to this situation; consolidate the two districts into one large super district playing at the division one level. He can remain the head coach and add his two sons to the staff. Build a new high school between the two communities with a new 20,000 seat stadium that can actually be used. Both communities win and life goes on happy ever after.

Why would they consider Mark Law wasn't he the one who turned Coach Frye in and walked away from the team? Is that who you want leading Wapak's program?
