The music person at Van Wert tonight felt the need to play loud music during every time out, between quarters, etc... At times the fans tried to do a cheer during a time out only to be drowned out by the canned music. Enough already!

I remember the first year their new gym opened, out of nowhere, the speakers started playing that stupid Zombie Nation song, and it was the loudest thing I've ever heard in a gym. The song is bad enough, to play it at 150 decibels was ridiculous.

Yep, Slice is awesome, bet she played in the Pep Band -- which I vote FOR. Love the Pep Bands -- lots of talented students out there. The Pep Band is another School Team :hifive2:

Pep band are hit and miss. Like anything else, it depends on your music department. Some active band directors like to get the kids involved and some even go to the girls games. Canned music is fine too, actually much easier now with smartphones and the ability to plug into speakers. The third choice is nothing, which is awful. You need some kind of music to drown out the yelling of coaches. Nothing more uncomfortable than a coach tearing down their players in a timeout with no other noise in the gym.
