Just like all other schools get free education. Except the LCC folks/parents are paying for both public and private schools.

They are paying for private schools by choice.

I feel that Jerry Cooper is done at LCC. He did do what he was brought in to do. That is win games...unfortunately that first run he had back in 2005 is nothing but a distant memory. He did that without all the voucher kids and that made LCC proud of their football again. When the program atmosphere changed fom true traditional catholic families that they had in the past to what player can I get next is when he lost his respect that he earned. The kids didn't seem to put it all out there like they had the first 6-7 years. IMO.

Here we go with this....

Coops shelve life at LCC has expired, 5-7 years is the max. just like everywhere else that he has coached in the past.

Yeah, I heard Coop chased the officials off the field........it was this kind of behavior that greased the skids for Chris Adams exit from Elida and looks to be the same for Coop. Temperament aside the two coaches have a lot in common when it comes to post season performance, or lack thereof.
Every passionate, volatile head coach needs an assistant coach who will not allow them to do these things. Easier said than done, but these guys are supposed to be leaders, and they act like babies when things don't go their way? How, after a 32 minute game where your team has multiple chances to win games, can you blame the officials? The officials don't care who wins, they are there to do a job. You really appreciate the coaches who conduct themselves with class, and respect their programs and their schools.

Oh good grief..... Just how many kids that play Football at LCC do you think are on the vouchers? Just how many do u think transfers in to LCC because of Cooper? Why are people so concern about how a coach acts that is not even at their school? No one complained like this when he was at their school. Some of you people need to get a life and leave LCC/Cooper alone. Cooper will retire when he's ready to. A personally I hope he stays just to prove all you guys wrong!!

OSU,
Cooper did not act that way while he was at Grove. I can't say for sure when he was at Bath... Maybe the pressure of the job just started to get to him. We talk about these things because this is not normal behavior for a coach. that has not been addressed

OSU-I agree,Don't think anyone transferred in because of Cooper(maybe Adam Good in 2005)..Not many vouchers either..But,go check out a basketball game here in a few weeks and you will see the voucher problem in manys eyes..(and the reason LCC was kicked out of the NWC)..Cooper may have had a bit with the boot as well..

I'd beg to differ. He acted this way while he was at Bath and Grove as well, which is why everybody in the NWC has hated him since the dawn of time. I guess I can admit, his antics have gotten a little more publicity while at LCC, but he has always been this way.

A "little more"? That's quite the understatement.

It is, but when you would see him in person on a yearly basis in the NWC/WBL, it didn't quite carry the shock and awe as it does for most people that see him on Koza/Lima News every 30 minutes.

True. The expansion in social media and sports coverage is likely the main contributor, but the fact that he is at LCC certainly doesn't help with the people who look for any excuse to bash the school for whatever reason, despite their own reflection.

Poker cat, I know nearly every one of them basketball parents and I can tell you if LSH didn't have the problems they have with low test scores....them kids would still be at LSH. They did not transfer in to be coached by a LCC coach.
