Now that we have gotten to week #10 of the high school football season the question is still out there........

With a LCC loss Saturday night, does Coach Jerry Cooper make it back for the 2014 season?

I say yes......but, I would love to hear it from Coop!!!!!!

If he doesn't, it will be his decision. The job is his for as long as he wants it.

Coach Coop made it through the season.....but I think this is probably it. Nice job their overall, Coop brought the T-Birds back to relevance, won some NWC titles and made the playoffs every year. The T-Birds lost early in the playoffs pretty much every year and much earlier than most of their fans expected.

Where is he transferring to? Which school in the area had really good Freshman and JV teams, but needs a head coach?

He was actually kind of calm today compared to my past viewings of his routine. Maybe he had accepted the fact that this team was average and not going to make a deep run. At least it wasn't a third loss to LB.

Calm? Does that mean retirement?

St. Mary's? There is no way they pay as well as LCC though. Would the Ws be worth the decrease in pay?

He'd make a perfect coach of either the Ottoville or Kalida football teams.

I have never heard of LCC leading the pack in paying their employees. I might be wrong but I thought the public schools pay more then LCC/DSJ.

Not sure what the pay scale has to do with this thread, but you may want to look up Coops salary before stating this. Granted, overall you are more than likely correct, but not in Coops case. And yes it is public record since he is paid thru Shawnee School district(Shawnee because LCC physically is within their geographical boundary).
