LB is finally going to play someone they can't match up with....Arlington by two scores

Right about the 2 scores but wrong team again.

Stick with tennis.

Tough one tonight for the Red Devils in a game that basically boiled down to 3 scores on big plays. Opening kick fumbled, 2 plays later TD LB. Hail Mary with no time on clock - TD. 75 yd TD run by Bell after Arlington scores to cut lead to 6 late in game. Anxious to see the numbers, I would guess that Arlington had more rushing yards in this one and seemed to control the line of scrimmage offensively. LB line did a nice job particularly in 1st half against Arlington's defensive front. Pretty good game overall - just too many big mistakes made by Arlington to overcome a pretty good LB team. I would give the effort tonight a solid grade, but we have to get rid of the huge momentum plays that have plagued us all year (long runs, TO's, penalties at bad times, etc). Anxious to get in playoffs and make a great run. Good luck to LB as well.

Man I was sweating bullets. When they kicked deep to Craft late in the game I was sure they would onside kick it. That was waaaaaaaaay to close for my liking. Good luck to both teams next week.

I don't know about sweating bullets or not, but I thought Arlington pushed LB more than they probably have been all year - would you agree Bluetiger? I was a bit surprised that the score was so high. Overall, a pretty good game with a few huge plays making the difference.

Absolutely. I really like your QB. Very elusive runner, does not take a direct hit.

Watching WTLW 44 tonight and one of their announcers was mentioning after the Arlington/LB highlights.........

"wouldn't it be great to see a Coldwater/LB game?"

I'm hear to tell you guys, LB wants NO PART of Coldwater right now

I'm sure winning the BVC championship tonight, and earning a home field playoff game, and a state playoff appearance for like the 9th time in 11 years...that is what they are really concerned about. They are high school kids.... let them enjoy the ride. Congratulations EAGLES!!!!

I wasn't at the Leipsic game, but based on what I have seen this was absolutely the biggest test for LB this year, and the best LB/Arlington game in several years. When LB got the ball back with 3:00 to go, deep in their own territory, I was sweating a little bit too. One mistake at that point and Arlington could have easily come back to steal it.

Hunter was kind of the X factor not so much for his arm as his legs. BlueT is right, it seemed like LB could not get a clean shot at him all night and he kept many plays alive because of his elusiveness. For LB it took a team effort, starting with Nathan Craft, who I thought played his best game of the year. He had a couple of bad throws but for the most part did a nice job.

From what I saw, it was not only the big plays but the Arlington "D" couldn't get off the field. How many times did they have LB at third and long (even a fourth and long) and LB converted. Stiffen up in those situations in the future and these bigger games may go in their (Arlington's) favor.

Watching the game on CH44 as we speak.......LB still can't catch up with Hunter.

Yep, Rettig had a nice game on the ground, but fortunately LB held him to only 6 receiving yards...or 123 total yards and a TD

Combs got the 72 yards on the ground, plus another 67 receiving..or 139 total yards and 2 TDs.

Two good players!
