Amen! I'm not going to talk on these forums in the playoffs, if all these MAC Dic* Riders are going to complain about their teams not making the dance and how they would have took the region if they did have. Point blank, if you would have won one more game, you wouldn't have to worry about that. Stop making excuses and get the dub this Friday night ...

Thanks!
Even if DSJ doesn't get in, Marion Local is going to annihilate anyone and everyone in their way this year and I will be surprised if Coldwater doesn't make it to AT LEAST the State semi finals, if not the finals and win it all.

What does that have to do with DSJ getting in or not? His post says nothing about the chances of the two MAC schools who will actually get into the playoffs.

They just had to find a way to get the MAC into the conversation, we all know how it is with them.

Obie.......

C'mon man.....read Calvert's post....he specifically mentions MAC................and by the way Obie.....I am not making any excuses about DSJ not making the playoffs.....by the way...instead of scheduling a couple non conference pattsies, the Jays played LCC and Elida...and we are in D7.....we really aren't very strong this season, so not much was expected......but, if we go 6-4, I think that is really respectable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm in complete agreement with you. I've never gained any doubt in my mind, that these two teams were powers in their respective regions and divisions, but the rest of the teams in this conference this year, are not making par.

I have nothing against the MAC, I just don't want to hear people talk about how their teams would have done "this and that" if they would have gotten into the playoffs. And, incase you wanted to see what I wrote again, here you go:

"Amen! Thanks!

btw, our Senecas of Tiffin Calvert have our own problems. We haven't gotten out of the 2nd round in the past two years, but this should be our third consecutive year of making it, and I hope we put a run together to shock and shut you MAClover's up for once.

I don't know how their younger classes faired this year, but they should still be sound. It is rather alarming how much DSJ's enrollment has plummeted. It's down by somewhere around 30% in just 2 years. DJ's enrollment went up, but just by a couple kids, so most of the families are moving out of Delphos, and I expect 2 years from now when they do the next enrollment count, both school's enrollment will be down dramatically with businesses leaving, an income and water tax spike, and the city on the verge of bankruptcy.

Everyone talks about the region being down, but has anyone looked at the bottom of the other three?

Ashland Mapleton, Southington Chalker, Paint Valley, Racine Southern, Cincy Christian....yikes. Region 23 and 25 are pretty bad top to bottom.
Always a watchful eyes on those Tiffin Calvert Senecas, Marion Local Flyers, Fort Loramie Redskins , New Albany Eagles.

That's to be expected. NW Ohio has the highest density of quality small school football. That's not to say there are not really good programs around the state, but they in no way match the density NW Ohio does.

One of the BVC schools will advance - most likely McComb or Arlington IMO. Looking more and more like we could see a rematch between these teams from regular season.

I would love to see Arlington, McComb, or Leipsic in the finals. Any two of the three.... a BVC finals.

My preference would be to play McComb in a rematch to prove that game was an anomaly. If we played Leipsic, they would have everything to play for based on first outing being so one-sided. I say, let's beat LB this week and get the 1 seed and worry about it then :)

I apologize, did I miss something. Is someone hurt (it's a long thread)? Looks to me DSJ will likely be #8 seed. With Mohawk as 7 point underdog to St. Joe. So they will be able to prove things, correct?
