Arlington can do no better than 2nd if they win and Leipsic wins. Riverdale's 1 win season is a killer for 2nd level points.Edinburgh went 5-5 and H-L will win a minimum of 5 games as well

I should have clarified that it looks like Arlington has a shot if Leipsic loses and they win.

It looks to me that Leipsic has enough second level points that beating a 6-3 P-G will keep them in 1st.

Scary part is you could have two or three 5-5 teams make the playoffs in region 24.

Arlington could pass Leipsic even if the Vikings win, but it would require Van Buren beating McComb AND Riverdale beating Wynford, both unlikely to happen

Agreed. if you start assuming multiple upsets take place you will have to wait until Saturday morning when all the smoke clears .

Who has Mohawk beat? They are 4-5 and in the number 8 spot, while 6-3 teams on the outside looking in.

Its not as much "who has Mohawk played".....its more of who did the 6-3 teams play? the four teams that Mohawk beat have 15 wins. There is only one team with a 6-3 record that is looking in and that is Pandora Gilboa, and the six teams they have beaten only have 11 wins.

I can see my Jays getting a raw deal even if they beat a talented Minster team this weekend......who happens to be 6-3.....tell me one D7 team that plays a tougher schedule than DSJ.........sheeeeeesh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would like to know the thinking behind this stating that Arcadia's schedule is harder than any other DVII BVC school. Check their non league games and they aren't great.

JFK's was interesting. Comprised primarily of D4s, D5s and D6s and 8 of the teams have winning records.

I'm not sure DPB, but the record of the teams they have played is 47-33, and 5 of the 9 are 8-0, 7-2, 7-2, 7-2 and 6-3...two others are 4-5. The note on the post says "so far" which means their tenth game vs. 0-9 Vanlue is not included in the calculation. But who knows.

Why would that be a "raw deal"? IF the Jays win there defeated opponents would have 3 wins on average. Thats mediocre at best. I understand losing to Coldwater and ML but do you not think the MAC is down this year as opposed to normal years?

Minster, New Breman, Versailles, SH and DSJ all lost both of their non league games and Anna only won one. Thats where you are getting hurt. No raw deal.

And I will say the same thing about PH if they lose to Wauseon and dont make it in. Even tho they lost to teams with a combined 3 losses. I think that would be more of a raw deal....but win another game and they are in.

Hefelfinger's article in the Crescent yesterday was laughable at best. His "A-Z" on post season. He said that, with a win, Hicksville could be on the outside looking in, while Pasteur has Hicksville at 100% with 6 wins.

Amen! I'm not going to talk on these forums in the playoffs, if all these MAC Dic* Riders are going to complain about their teams not making the dance and how they would have took the region if they did have. Point blank, if you would have won one more game, you wouldn't have to worry about that. Stop making excuses and get the dub this Friday night ...

Thanks!

Wouldn't argue that at all BBM. Usually someone's list, is just that...."someone's list". As you probably know it comes from Drew Pasteurs site.....and is generally used to stimulate conversation.

Yeah, as soon as DPB pointed out that Arcadia is #7 on that list there was something amiss about it lol
