It's not technically a fumblerooski. The guard stands up at the snap, turns a 360 (so that his back faces the line of scrimmage in the process) and takes the handoff from the QB. L-B's been running that play for years.

Just to help make a correction, Pulitzer, that would be a 180. 🏈

I am hearing there may be an interesting sub plot forming for this game .

Sub plot?!? There are no subplots in a football game, both teams going out to win, going to do what it takes to win. There can only be one plot, win the game. :shrug2:

That would be irresponsible reporting on my part lol. No conformation. We will see if anyone else is hearing the same thing.

If it's that Arlington doesn't like LB.. We get it

Not if you explicitly state that it is an unconfirmed rumorbat this time.

But unless it's something like LB starting players being suspended, I don't think it will have much of an impact on the game.

Arlington needs to forget who the other team is in this game and just EXECUTE.

Totally agree. Execute every play in all 3 phases of the game.

Coach Nichols "guard -around" play has been around for a while... I'm pretty sure he has rant that while at Riverdale, and even once at an East West playoff game... If you think that one's good, ask him about "cup bronco". ;)

Not sure which is dumber... An idiot or one who argues with an idiot!

LB does not need to go anywhere! IMO the top of the league in the BVC is better than the NWC, so not sure how that would help LB. I am hearing there may be an interesting sub plot forming for this game .

L-b needs to go to the NWC. They've already been called West Findlay. The disparity between the top and bottom in the BVC is only going to get worse, and that doesn't exist in the NWC thus making it a better conference IMHO .It would benifcial for both.

Yes he ran it at Riverdale and he ran it in the East/West Allstar game with the Motter boy from HN (who had some serious wheels)

So "beneficial for both" is taking out one of the top BVC teams so the top of the BVC has even fewer good teams than it does now?

I agree, has anyone ever considered that maybe starting with Vanlue (no offense intended) that they need to leave; and maybe the disparity wouldn't be as great. Why thin the league by removing the top teams, ask McComb, Van Buren and Leipsic folks; I bet the majority of them not all, would choose Vanlue to leave before Liberty. What type of league do you what to end up with? :coffee:

Perhaps one of the most entertaining things to watch is to see if Newlove can find the correct side of the field to watch the game. Believe it was last year when he "scolded" some LB fans for being on the wrong side of field at a SRO field at Arlington. Could get interesting if he can't.

Never seen him have an issue with being on the correct side before, guessing he will figure it out. I agree with white its the teams at the bottom that are the problem.

It was one of the finest executed versions of the fumblerooski I have ever seen. By the time the players and fans realized what was going on, he was halfway to the endzone on a 50 yrd bulldozing run that ended with about 4 broken tackles and a chestbump that damn near knocked Craft out of the game! Nothing short of an act of God was keeping him out of the endzone. He wanted that one.

LB doesn't need to leave... Especially with all the hard work Irwin and Garlock have done to spearhead the BVC expansion. Why with the addition of Riverdale and North Baltimore maybe we should change the name from the BVC to the MAC north division.

sands... Nice pictures!!! May certainly the biggest kid I've ever seen run that play, Looks like a load with surprisingly quick feet. I would think carrying the ball like that in the open field one would open themselves up to get their knees cut down, I'm surprised he and or Coach Nichols would take that chance with May's bright outlook for a college scholarship. Oh and by the way, as for Newlove, I'm sure his mouth has gotten him into plenty of trouble before and probably will again... I'm sure the Caviar Moms will put him in his place if the need arises

Time for LB to join another league. NCC, NWC or NBC would be a better match. Travel might be to much.
How many times do we need to hear this? As an Arlington fan this is the last thing the BVC needs to see.

First, financially, for a few of the BVC schools, the LB game will draw the biggest gate in just about all of your sports. What school in todays age wants to give up the $$ to schedule a team that will most likely be from farther away and bring fewer people.

Second, just about every year, every other team than LB is guaranteed a game against a bigger school, and in football, that means the potential for a lot of computer points. All other sports are given an opportunity to play a bigger school, often better.

There are many other reasons to keep LB in the BVC, the only other one I will mention is the low cost of most BVC schools to travel to LB. It is the center of the conference. If they get booted, the schools will be adding a much longer road game to their schedules, which increases transportation costs and time our athletes spend on a bus.

If you are whining about LB in the BVC, have your school change conferences. It is easier to dumb down your schedule. LB has been the best thing for our girls and boys basketball teams the last few years. Smaller schools get noticed when they beat LB or even play them close.

Now as for the football game this weekend I think LB has too many horses for us to beat them, but I do think we will give them a game. LB 35, Arlington 21.

Maybe wrong, but it may have been the other Blue/White team (Riverdale) which set him off last year.
