Against Ada, Crestview made some changes by putting some of their more athletic guys like Oliver at corner. Crestview learned a lot from WT. They will be well aware that they cannot just set in zone or match up their young athletic corners against a team with taller talent at WR. Crestview has the size if they need it, and I am confident that their coaching staff will make the needed adjustments to their game plan to prevent any future WT-type outcomes. I was very impressed with how they chose to match up with Ada. Oliver was matched up one on one with Ada's best receiver and did a great job. Remember he has played corner at the varsity level since he has been a freshman. This is his first year moving to the SS/LB position. Before we start talking playoffs, the Knights need to take care of Spencerville, Grove, and Paulding.

Yep. I noticed that change happening at halftime against DJ. They rotated a lot of the smaller corners(who are good in their own right), and tried to matchup Oliver as a CB whenever possible against the team's best WR.

Which is why if Crestview faces a team in the playoffs with tall athletic recievers again, they may go down

CKUM made a good point. They changed things up a bit in the 2nd half against DJ and against Ada. I think they could fair better against a team like WT now if they played. I think their early season defense would be alright against some other teams, especially run dominant teams, but the defense they ran against Ada would be a lot more effective against wide open spread teams in my opinion.

Thanks, I found and corrected that error. I had Archbold at 4.0 1st level points instead of 4.5. :hifive2:

How likely are things looking of PH getting in if they win vs Archbold but lose against Wauseon?

That's the scenario I have them in. They would be cutting it close but I have them in as an 8 seed by a fairly comfortable margin...always subject to change though if things go haywire.

It's not set in stone, because there are a lot of unknowns, but based on my predictions, they would be at #3 at 17.4444.

It's going to be interesting for Ada. They will have to beat either Jefferson or LCC in order to make the playoffs, correct?

I'd have to run calculations, but based on what I've seen so far, they would probably be the 9 seed unless something went weird in the 2nd level or teams drop, then they can get in. Allen East/Mt Gilead is a crossover game, so key game. Ada beat Allen East and Crawford beat Mt. Gilead.

Probably the best Ada can get without beating Jefferson or LCC would be 11.55.

Not going to be enough.

Get one and they're in. Get both and they're hosting. There is a lot still at stake. An Ada upset over Jefferson and there's a 3-way share for the NWC title.

East Clinton certainly didn't help their cause by losing to Meadowdale tonight. That one hurt.

Not an expert on this. So DJ is 1 if they win out and 2 if they lose to Ada. Tinora is 2 and 1 if DJ loses.

PH is a 3 if they win and 8 if they lose to Wauseon. Crawford is 3 if PH loses and they win out.

WT and LCC are 3 and 4 by winning out and PH/CC lose. Who would be the 3 and 4?

This is a quick one, and obviously there are a few huge games left. I would say that most are basically in. Seeding is the only question.

The huge games are PH vs Wauseon, Ada vs DJ and LCC, and Crawford vs. Upper Sandusky.

I'm not going to put these in order but instead offer scenarios.

Tinora - 20.5

Jefferson - 21.8 winning out. (18.6 losing to Ada)

Wayne Trace - 17.15

Crawford - 14.5 with a loss to Upper Sandusky. 17.7 if they beat Upper Sandusky.

Crestview - A lot depends on Ada. 15.8 if Ada loses out. 16.2 if Ada beats either Jefferson OR LCC. 16.6 if Ada beats BOTH Jefferson and LCC

LCC - 14.2 if they lose to Ada. 17.05 if they beat Ada. Scatter in some extra 2nd level points if Bath can get wins against Elida or OG.

Patrick Henry - 11.9388 if they lose to Wauseon. 16.0444 if they win. Give them .4 more 2nd level points if Swanton can knock off Grandview Heights in either outcome.

Northwood - 13.75 winning out. Could go up based on Woodward against Scott/Start/Waite. It's hard to tell with those teams. Bad vs. Bad.

Ada - 11.55 losing out. 14.85 with a win over only LCC. 15.5 with a win over only Jefferson. 18.8 with a win over both LCC and Jefferson.

so only Crawford can catch WT. LCC and PH winning out wont catch them? Looks like Crestview will play LCC in 1st round.
