Why didn't the Ottawa Post 63 team not stay and play the third place consolation game this weekend in Richmond, IN?
It sounds like Ottawa played well in the tournament winning the first 3 games of pool play by scores of Ottawa 11 Troy 4, Ottawa 8 Brookville 4, Ottawa 5 Lansing, MI 2 before losing to Floyds Knobs, IN in the tournament. Did Post 63 run out of pitchers? I know when these teams play 4-5 games in 2-3 days they tend to run short on arms.
