22-6 when the big girl went out with foul trouble and cut it to 22-16 in the second. Could've been 28-20 going to half but Ottoville threw a full court pass and scored at the buzzer to make it 30-20 at half. All Down hill from there..

Great job ladies!! We need less turnovers. I think we win on Saturday and take the trip to Columbus. Arcadia is good and has some shooters. They won the BVC, but Leipsic beat them. They had a close game with Pandora, Liberty Benton. They also beat McComb. Ottoville has beaten those teams but I guess anything is possible..I still think Ottoville's outside game will continue and beat Arcadia. Good Luck Ladies and bring home some more hardware.

Foul Trouble! HA those refs sucked! And I never down refs because it is hard out there. Touch fouls on us and hammer fouls on them. Oh well we survived.

Impressive win by the Big Green tonight. Leipsic's been on a roll and Ottoville dominated from the outset. Arcadia's awfully good, but this is the Big Green's year. Too many weapons, and too much size for the Redskins.

Ottoville is clearly the better team over Arcadia and should win this game by at least 20 points or more. That is depending if they get the same officials as tonight lol they were terrible.

Your complaining about the refs when Leipsic had the first eight fouls called against them to start the second half!
Let's not be too demanding.

Oh boy lol that was probably because Leipsic fouled and Ottoville didnt. They were down 10 at the half and so as a team you want to come out really aggressive which they did resulting in those first 8 fouls. If the refs called what shoulda been called leipsic woulda had over 10 that quarter. Ottoville just didn't foul it's that simple tgey were patient and playing smart defense. So don't use that 2nd half 8 fouls to 0 to make your argument.

I never said Leipsic didn't foul. I have no complaints with the refs. All I'm saying is that Ottoville won by 23 and instead of being happy and looking forward to their regional final game, some fans have to still complain about the refs.

And some fans have no idea what a foul is and what isn't. The first half was terrrrrible and if honestly think otherwise u may be insane! Regardless of score. And we r extremely happy.

Well in all honesty they were the reason why Leipsic was within 6 early in the game. Grant it some Ottoville turnovers here and there but 3 of the starters were out til second half. So when that happens, sure the fans will probably start complaining. Then when the refs finally started calling fouls for Leispic, it was over from there. I know people get annoyed when others tried to use bad officiating as an excuse, but the bottom line is in the first half of that game it appeared the refs were calling ticky tack fouls on Ottoville and only hard obvious fouls on Leipsic. And to make my point even more clear, I have been to a lot of girls games in my life. Kleman (coach of Ottoville) usually never gets worked up over officiating but he was getting pretty worked up last night.

Not only does Saturday's game if we win means a trip to Columbus. It is also going to be Dave Kleman's 400 Victory. Go Green keep it up

I guess what I was trying to say earlier is this. If you talk to Ottoville fans or were at the game and noticed that people thought the refs were against Ottoville the whole game but you seen in the second half that Leipsic got called for the first 7-8 fouls. Then you will start to think well how were the refs against Ottoville in that case? It's simple, see don't be the sucker that believes all that. Too many fans that don't have a clue believe in that and are fooled easily because of that. I said earlier Leipsic had to play from behind, resulting in them to be more aggressive. Ottoville played more timid because their 3 main scorers had 2 fouls. So of course you might see a lobsited call on fouls. Eventhough the way the refs were treating Ottoville in the first, I was still surprised that they didn't call some early on them. Yes it's an emotional game and people who think that the refs don't determine the outcome of the game do not have a clue. It is very much real and you just hope that your team is on the right side of that outcome. Good game by both teams. Congrats to Leipsic on a fine season. Ottoville showed they were clearly the better team and will be once again heading in to the Arcadia game.

400 victories and 0 state championships. Crying about fouls will set you up for defeat.Officiating usually changes down the tournament trail. A good team will adjust..So, if I was Ottoville I would adjust to the situation. I have never heard one official let alone 3 officials say that they were going to put it to a certain team. Do not cry about officiating. It makes it look like it is your first tournament run.

Do not ever take the opinion of a fan of a team at the game, it's never objective. Officials have a very difficult job, and especially at the regional level, you're not getting the jr. high ref who's officiated for only 3 years. They are as good as you'll get at this time of year. That said, you have to always watch who the aggressor is. That team is obviously going to get more fouls. I chuckle when fans complain about the dispartiy in fouls, but their team plays an aggressive style. Of course the fouls are lop sided.
