Man, I really don't like it very much when public schools recruit...just isn't fair to the rest of us!!!!!

They recruited the father first and after that, it was history....just isn't right.....Ottoville has also recruited a couple DSJ girls over the years......it just isn't right!!!!!

First of all Ottoville doesn't recruit! Lol. They just want to play for winners. Mangas was here way back like 93-94 and left. Realized how great we r here in gods country and came running back. The rest is history. Lol

Ottoville DOES NOT recruit, If my Dad was the supt., I would go to the same school (which I did). The Polman girl went to Ottoville for one year for personal reasons. Do start this BS. I do not need to research, I was just asking a question, and all those positive posters come up this BS. You guys need to get a life. Sometimes this site is like a middle school with all the gossip. So on to another game, I think the biggest one of the regional semis has to be Marion Local vs Fort Loramie. I believe Marion Local will be giving Fort Loramie quite a game and perhaps even beat them. Just seems like the Lady Flyers are playing phenomenal right now and only lost by 3 to the Redskins earlier in the season. Either way both these teams are playing pretty good right now. Been seeing some Berlin Hiland and Fort Loramie scouts at the Ottoville tournament games lately.

My money is on Leipsic, big underdogs. A lot of talent on both teams, anything can happen. Gerdeman and Gerten have played extremely well in tournament, I see no let down.

Well for Leipsic sake they will have to play their best game yet and Ottoville play their worst game in order to pull this one off. Because if its anything like the first time these two teams played it will be over after the first couple possessions.

You are all counting Leipsic out way too quick. Siefker was contained easily last game, Mangas just played out of her talent. We all know that girl is no "six 3's" kind of player. To be honest, if Leipsic doesn't have as many turnovers as last time, talented Gerdeman guards that giant Siefker like she did last time, and Mangas actually plays how she did all season, Leipsic will has a huge chance. Just as an outsider looking in, you're all counting Leipsic out and these comments are motivating the hell outta 'em. I'd bet the "Lady Big Green Manifesto" dynasty ends tonight. Go vikes!

Domination I think you're wrong about Mangas, she's a special player who has been tearing it up since Kaufman went down. Also about shutting down Siefker, you can't really hang your hat on how the Vikes played defense in a game in which they lost by TWENTY TWO the first time around.

I think Vikes are gonna run 4 corners and hold the ball for the last shot each quarter. By tomorrow people will compare us to a couple other programs, Holgate boys ball, and the Hickory Huskers. We'll probably run the picket fence each time till the 4th when Haley Gerten tells coach "I'll make the shot". I think I'll be the drunk assistant who runs out on the floor to correct the officials calls!

Seems to me you are making more excuses as to why Leipsic got their doors blown off the first game. The way I seen it, Leipsic only has one girl that can handle the ball. Ottoville pressured her constantly and denied her the ball, resulting in a lot of turnovers by Leipsic. In my opinion this will come down to the guards which Ottoville has better over Leipsic. You can be proud at beating Patrick Henry but I will tell you that they are not as good as you think they are. I think this game will be closer than the last game but Ottoville still wins this.

If Leipsic goes to the 4 corners,I Bonnie Chitwood can make every shot or L is going to be in trouble. I think it will be a tough game for OV. Go Green.
