You are wrong....I was at the Holgate game and Old Fort and we did not stall either one of those games.....I'll tell Brett the next time I see him that some fan from Ottoville said he played stall ball those 2 games......he could probably use a good laugh!!!!

DSJ probably averaged in the mid 60's that season on offense....................does that and those scores look like a team that stalls and holds the ball!!!!!!!

My cousin a freshman at holgate said The sophomore Buchholz kid is 6'5 and plays AAU n year round ball. Wayne told him after the lost that he doesn't care how good he is he won't play for him unless he changes his attitude.... The only attitude I've seen from this kid is that he wants to be a scorer but gets yelled at every time by JV coach he tried to make a play. Obviously missing the talent there since Wayne lacked a big guy all year and someone that could produce points.

So he was getting in trouble for playing basketball? He wasn't playing holgate stall ball and got in trouble? I think the famed Paul Wayne coaching staff is slipping a little.

I think that is because well the lack of scoring holgate ball is really based in hard nosed defense, holding the opponent to a low score because holgate hasn't had the offensive fire power lately. But the past couple years especially this year they have lacked a consistent scorer. And we'll a scorer In general. There were countless times at the games I went to that the team besides a 1 or 2 players would be afraid to shoot the ball. And when they have a kid that is willing to try and score he sits the bench? There is your low attendance problem right there, the lack of points being put up.
