If ottoville thinks like the fans and followers of the big green, it's going to be heartbreak city. Carey for example might just do the dirty deed. Being overlooked is great bulletin board material.

What? lol Fans can be premature but one thing for sure no team overlooks another you should know that especially in regionals emerson. But personally I just don't see Carey doing it. If any team in that regional it's Crestview and I am not so sure they can. But if any team would do it they would be the one to do it. It can be any teams night in tournament.

sterio....

I think you are getting excited about the Ottoville girls and their tournament run....I can tell little buddy that you are thinking Cbus all the way......it should be pretty easy pickings all the way to Cbus as my Jays gave Crestview all they could handle tonight....and my Jays have struggled all season long, so the road to Cbus is all yours Sterio....no major roadblocks....one last thing sterio....my Jays did put up a fight!!!!!

I saw Crestview tonight vs. DSJ. Granted it was one game but from what I saw tonight, I don't think Crestview would be a huge threat to Ottoville.

Another solid showing from the Big Green tonight as the dismantled a Grove team they beat handily earlier in the season.

Sidenote about this game: I really hope Aubrey Fruchey for Grove is ok, she took a nasty fall on her knee tonight.

Mangas really stepped up along with Turnwald. I think this team is heading in the right direction, taking the bye was a smart idea by coach Klemen to keep from getting rusty.

If they keep hitting their perimeter shots like they did in the 2 games this week I don't know a team that can touch them.

Classy move by Klemen to get his JV 6:30 worth of work at the end when it was out of hand.

Love covering this team, it was nice seeing Mangas smiling on the court tonight.....it seems like the difference in the previous teams and this one is they are finally having fun and enjoying the game as opposed to recent years where it was all business....maybe it's what they need to get over the hump and hoist the trophy in March.

My Knights have no chance against this ottoviile team. They have the most talent in the state. Thet could most likely win state at any level. I dont believe they will fold again this year

Look out for the Kalida vs Crestview matchup. Something tells me we could see an upset in this game.

Ya that seems a little too premature if you ask me. Especially with Kaufman out.

.Ottoville will only be tested by Crestview....write it down...the rest of the way it will be cake.....providing Ottoville comes to play........Hiland could face Garaway, Rosencrans, and Lake Ridge Academy...all very quality opponents who Ottoville has not seen the likes of all season.......trust me on this one Sterio......and believe it or not, but Hiland may not even make it to Cbus!!!!!

Just FYI, Garaway is out (lost to Rosecrans by 3 in the sectional final - very good game). Hiland will likely see Shadyside, who has Karli Bonar (all-time state leader in 3's made for a career sitting at roughly 345 right now) who is headed to Findlay next year, and Haley Holenka, who is the third 1000 point scorer in her family. They play Rosecrans Thursday night, who have a junior 1,000 point scorer and really strong point guard. Either one will be a tough match-up.

I wouldn't be bringing that shadyside junk to these parts. Most are all too familiar with them.

Fair enough. I feel they lack the coaching (personally feel that while it would have taken some doing to pull it out in the final minutes of last year's district finals, the coach single-handedly tanked any chance by not being aware of the foul count on Bonar when it was within 5), but this is the same core group who DID make that trip - and get blitzed - with an added two years of maturity. They aren't going to roll over lol

I will take the Hiland Hawks to be the state champions as they have been battle tested with their own tournament, playing great competition- Wadsworth, West Holmes, and overall experience at the State Tournament.
