He felt the pain the rest of us in the BVC felt for 4 years. I would hope LB fan would at least acknowledge that NO ONE got away with more holding, pushing, hand checking than Craft, and no one shot more free throws on the offensive end.

Free throws are about driving to the lane, when your drive to the lane you will get calls. Aaron did most of his scoring driving to the lane. He also was the primary ball handler for LB which means in that system on that team he is the only one driving to the lane and getting fouls so He will shoot more free throws on LB's team than anyone else.

If you dont' drive as a team then you will shoot less free throws. just a fact of basketball. More fouls are called going to the lane than out top.

Hmm, guess he is doing pretty well since his always getting away with things in highschool days Must be the same refs in college that did LB games.

Several pages in this weeks Sports Illustrated about Aaron and his great defense.

Let's see.... 14 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 blocks and 1 steal on the road last night in Nebraska. In a close one.

I'm with you Cubbie....its got to be the officiating.

No one made it to the hole as often as he did either.

And he had a ton of steals which resulted in many free throws. Not sure why we have to defend on a kid who was the Big 10 defensive player of the year and has a shot of winning it again. And one of the most talented kids that has come out of Northwest Ohio ever.

Sorry, he'll be runner up defensive player of the year this year. Vic Oladipo of IU is no doubt the defensive player of the year, not only does he lock down, he can guard 4 positions and block shots. Heck, he may be player of the year in the big ten.
And you don't have to defend him, just bringing up a point of how he played in high school, and everyone has to acknowledge, he got some friendly whistles...

If so, no more friendly whistles than any other High talented D1 athlete playing in D3 basketball.

And as much as you have an arguement about Vic Oladipo, Thomas has got to be the leading candidate for the Big Ten player of the year. He drops 20 plus and every team knows he is the main and only true scorer on Ohio State.

Thomas better average about 25-30. Guys that finish as on the 4th or 5th best team in the conference don't win POY. I'd say at this time, it's got to be Zeller, Olidipo or Burke of Michigan as the front runners.

That is true I would agree with that. But we will have to see how the next few games go. Ind. I think is the team to beat in the Big ten. So we will see how Ohio state does against them. Since they still yet to need to play them twice.
And well the Mich debate will be decided tonight, since Ohio State has a chance to Sweep them.

I look for Michigan to win by 10-15 points tonight. Game is at Michigan, Michigan is coming off of a loss, and another loss would seriously damage their chances for teh big ten title.

Also, the next few weeks are going to be huge for seedings for the NCAA tournament, yes, you want to get in, but there is a big difference being a #1 or #2 seed, than being a #4 or #5 seed.

If Burke had to play against Aaron every game he would not be POY. LOL

I said shot and you may be right about Oladipo.

Michigan should win tonight. I actually think Michigan is the team to beat in the Big 10. Indy has many tough road games left. I do really like their coach though.

Well Ohio state did not lose by 10 -15. And I agree with Maltese, But with that said, I have never been one to blame officials. You can't score 2 points in OT and expect to win. Ohio state had several turnovers in OT, that allow Michigan to keep the momentum and win the game. Michigan I still say will not win the BIG ten.

Ohio State may not have a constent second scorer, but they have a constent defense and defense travels. They clearly could have won that game last night.

On a Footnote. Dicki V. Said Craft should be up for Defensive player of the year....now I know Vital is Vital.

Vic Oladipo is only leading the book in two areas. Not saying Craft is better but no way Oladipo get gets player of the year. http://espn.go.com/m...er-game/group/7

While Craft did get fouled (hammered is more the word) at the end, that last drive to the bucket should've never happened. The slap to the head by Craft should've given the ball back to Michigan after the free throws. Most players get the flagrant foul called on them in that situation.....He's still got the magic...... :bow2:

He was going for the ball. You cn even read the refs lips staing that.

Last 2 games I have watched, the SuperBowl the other, the refs swallowed the whistle.
