BERLIN - Cincinnati Withrow had more rebounds and less turnovers than Midpark, but Midpark eeked out a 54-46 victory at the 10th annual Classic in the Country.

Stasha Carey led the Meteors (10-3) with 18 points and 12 rebounds while Korie Maryo nailed four 3-pointers on the way to 16 points. Jessica Barnes dished out six assists for Midpark, who had three less rebounds and seven more turnovers than Withrow.

Adriana Williams' 16 points led the Tigers (13-3) and Siri Huey had 13 points and 16 rebounds. It is Withrow's second straight loss.

Partlow scores and she's fouled. She misses the free throw attempt. Once again, I say Clyde with a big showing here. I'm only about 20 minutes from Clyde and it took me about 2 hours, 15 minutes to get here, so they definitely had a long trek here and they had their section filled up mid-way through that Midpark-Withrow game.

Cahill blocked down low but Withrow turns it back over to Clyde. This Clyde team has only one senior and their junior class is loaded. Four out of five starters are juniors, plus a sophomore and a sophomore is the first off the bench. Partlow scores again for Winton Woods and that'll bring John Cahill to call a timeout.

Jumpball on Winton Wood's 1st possession of the 2nd quarter gives the ball to Clyde. Layup by Michaels literally rolls off the rim and Winton Woods brings it down. Longer jumper for 5'7'' senior Taylor Johnson puts points up for Winton Woods. A missed shot by Clyde and Partlow quickly scores. Another miss by Clyde but Winton Woods turns it over and 5'9'' junior Hannah Wadsworth scores for Clyde. Yes, another junior.

Clyde is really struggling from the floor. They scored seven points in less than four minutes in the first quarter but only two points since in the last seven minutes. Johnson is helped off the floor for Winton Woods but they score on a bucket from 6'1'' junior Tyra James. Michaels responds with a 3-pointer for Clyde.
