the sights and sounds at the Classic in the Country is what keeps bringing us back
year after year.........this marks the Flounder & I's 6th foray to the CITC and I know I can
speak for both of us when I say that this is one of my favorite weekends of the entire year.....(next to Christmas and my birthday of course

Even though Muva is saying she's not responsible for the music selections, whoever is in charge this morning gets a tip of the RM's cap....
Last night after stopping off at Mr. Tom Jenkins home for a little R&R after the long day, we ended up at a little bar in Millersburg named Bags...
The place was crowded right up until closing time and as usual I met some very unique individuals

Hiland and the other from W. Holmes.....no love lost between these two schools I've been told) who entertained us with stories about the Amish life
here in Holmes Co......verry entertaining indeed!.......both Flounder and i thank you for a great evening.....
Also a couple of gentlemen who professed to be professional referees

to Bags by people who knew that Flounder and I would most likely be holding court as usual.......We learned a little more about "Rumspringa" and all the
things that the Amish youth are/aren't allowed to do during this very important time of their lives......Wikipedia describes "Rumspringa" as a period of adolescence for some members of the Amish community during which a youth temporarily leaves the community to experience life in the outside world. The Amish, a subsect of the Anabaptist Christian movement, intentionally segregate themselves from other communities as a part of their faith. The Rumspringa normally begins around the age of 14 to 16 and ends when a youth chooses baptism within the Amish church or instead leaves the community. The vast majority choose baptism and remain in the church. Not all Amish use this term but in sects that do, Amish elders generally view it as a time for courtship and finding a spouse.
One of the young ladies also had a boyfriend with her who also gave us a little more insight into the Amish way.......now mind you, he had much more to drink
than either of us at this time

Ready to Go
Republica
You're weird, in tears, too near and too far away,
He said, saw red, went home stayed in bed all day,
Your t'shirt, dish dirt,
Always love the one you hurt
It's a crack, I'm back yeah standing
On the rooftops shouting out,
Baby I'm ready to go
I'm back and ready to go
From the rooftops shout it out
It's a crack, I'm back yeah standing
On the rooftops having it
Baby I'm ready to go
I'm back and ready to go
From the rooftops shout it out, shout it out
You sleep, too deep, one week is another world
Big mouth, big mouth, drop out, drop out
You get what you deserve
You're stange, insane, one thing you can never change
It's a crack, I'm back yeah standing
On the rooftops shouting out,
Baby I'm ready to go
I'm back and ready to go
From the rooftops shout it out
It's a crack, I'm back yeah standing
On the rooftops having it
Baby I'm ready to go

Let's get it started in here
And the bass keeps runnin' runnin'
And runnin' runnin'
And runnin' runnin'
And runnin' runnin'
And runnin' runnin'
And runnin' runnin'
And runnin' runnin'
And runnin' runnin' and
In this context, there's no disrespect
So when I bust my rhyme, you break yo necks
We got 5 minutes for us to disconnect

leading into town........
alarm clocks not working, coffee makers not percolating, and hot water heaters in the motel not heating
all might have led to a very lethargic start to today's contest......
but never fear, the Flounder and I have contracted with a local farmer who will be able to provide us
with methane gas that we can use should the power go out again

Santana Feat
Man it's a hot one
Like seven inches from the midday sun
Well I hear you whisper and the words melt everyone
But you stay so cool
My mu equita my Spanish Harlem Mona Lisa
You're my reason for reason
The step in my groove
Yea
And if you say, "This life ain't good enough"
I would give my world to lift you up
I could change my life to better suit your mood
'Cause you're so smooth
And it's just like the ocean under the moon
Well it's the same as the emotion that I get from you
You got the kind of lovin' that can be so smooth, yeah
Gimme your heart, make it real
Or else forget about it
