How many people on here actually go to basketball games? High School, College, Pro? I mean this comment just sounds like a very upset fan that does not have a clue. I fail to see why shouting the home teams name louder after a made basket shows any kind of disrespect? I mean the game was at Leipsic right? So with it being a home game wouldn't you show more enthusiasm for them rather than the visiting team? Try watching an NBA game on tv. They always do that. It's not disrespectful, it's called being an announcer lol.

Badlands.. where do you have any room to talk about class? You are starting an argument over high school commentating. She is a volunteer, and does a fine job. You just need an excuse to why you lost. The Leipsic boys simply outplayed you. It was a special event and she tried to make it exciting. This is simple home court advantage; watch a college game, the announcers do the same thing. Grow up and get over it.

I'm going to have to agree with chocolatedrizzle2. Badlands, how old are we? Is it necessary for you to start a thread absolutely and utterly demeaning a person just because you thought she was a poor announcer? She is a volunteer and gets paid nothing for coming out every home game to announce. She does it for the kids not so someone can bash her for the way she speaks. I'd like to know what Leipsic name she pronounced wrong because i was there and didn't hear any mistakes. I understand there are hard feelings from the game but there is no excuse for posting that. Do you realize how bad she would feel if she saw that? Every game has home court favoritism, i repeat, EVERY GAME. You're just a bully.

I knew the post would have something negative about LCC.

Congrats to Leipsic for a great and well organized "Hoops for Hope" evening. Heard today that over $7,000 was raised for CAP. National Anthem sang by both schools was beautiful and loved the starting line-ups with Andy Lynch. Heck even the referee's had Pink whistles. How can anyone complain after a night like that?
Leipsic Boys...you played one heck of a game...Congrats!

Announcing loud, isnt that just another home court advantage?? Its hard to find a good announcer that will be motivating for both schools, even when there school is losing. Hermiller from PG is a very good announcer and gets excited for both teams, without over doing it.
I also thought the same thing about the Fort Recovery announcer, yeah to a point there could be a "right" and "wrong" team but thats a matter for an opinion and probably shouldnt be announced

Why is everybody picking on you..........I don't think you deserve this at all.....and most schools would be better off if no one announced the game....the fans can view it for what it is....they do not need a commentator!!!!!!!!!!!!
