Exactly....how they can the government justify sending public money to a private school when there is no representation? Public schools have School Boards that are accountable to the public and those people are elected.
Hound Dog......
We here in Delphos have a little bit different issue to contend with than many cities..........we at DSJ do not rely on public funds to keep our school open....as I stated before...check out our facilities...all paid for by our own....even built a new gym and training facility....we paid for it......but the funny thing is that we have 2 schools to support......so tax levies do make a difference for the other school in town...that being Jefferson........do you have any idea who supported the last tax levy, but still it did not pass.......now don't get me wrong here, but the public school needed that levy to go through....hell, I am sure that you and ADog know something about supporting public schools and levies........well, just to get to the point.......the catholics...of all people...those damn privates....supported that levy.....so, don't you, ADog, and ol 'Bucki' give me crap about vouchers....it just doesn't fly....at least not here in Delphos.......I even have some more facts, but feel they are not appropriate right now!!!!!
By the way........I voted for the levy....my wife is a Jeff grad.....but I still would have voted, because it is the right thing to do....I chose the private school, and therefore I made my own decision....but I still have a obligation to vote for the levy......now, if you, ADog, and Bucki want to argue this further than feel free......otherwise forget it and move on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
