no, I believe he would be eligible to play right away............that is if Perry administration and coach would allow him to participate.........why not LSH though?

It is all according to where his home school district is located. If he lives in the Perry district he could play for Perry right away. He could not play for Lima Sr. if he lives in the Perry district. If he lives in the Lima Sr school district he could play for Lima right away and not Perry. It all depends on where is home is located.

I could be wrong and I don't feel like looking it up but I don't think he will have to sit out a year.

As for bruce, he made a dumb mistake and I'm sure he will learn from it. The school finally made an example out of someone but they picked the wrong kid to be that example IMO. Bruce is a good kid and still has a bright future. Live and learn.

He doesn't have to sit out. He can 1 time transfer from a private school to a public school without sitting out. Thank goodness it's not the other way around. " or the war would be on ".

Yes, they are loaded....therefore, kick them out of the NWC!!!!!

No kick out a school that is blantantly drawing from a population that almost exceeds the rest of the conference. I would rather see kids from Middle Point, Convoy, Ada, Paulding, and Spencerville play for their home school and play against each other. Let LCC play in WBL against schools that equal their population draw.

C-town........I can guarantee you that in booting LCC, it will hurt the NWC more than it will hurt LCC!!!!!!

I'd love to hear this theory considering some of the NWC's best success came without LCC in the conference...better yet, Perry and USV were in the conference back then. At any rate, it's just your wishful thinking. The NWC will be the NWC. Gaining or losing LCC, does absolutely nothing either way for anybody else in the NWC.

Sorry Bucki, but in the end you will see that the NWC will return to just your average league......but, your Jeffcats will be a contender!!!!

Flounder... what you'll see is LCC will feel the most negative impact of this decision over time and the NWC will continue to roll on. The NWC succeeded without LCC before and they will again. In fact... it has already started! Before we know it.... LCC will be in the same catagory as Elida and Kenton.

If that's what it is in your eyes, then I couldn't really care less, because the NWC could win state for the rest of time and you would still have your mind made up in your fantasy land of whatever it is you are dreaming about.

Playing teams that are as good and a little better will help you get better. Playing a team who is 2 levels above you just destroys a team. So I agree it will hurt the top half teams in the NWC but your lower half shouldn't have to play a Division II team in conference.

But I think it will hurt LCC equally. What do the kids have to play for during season?? Pride can only go so far. No tough conference games will hurt you in the playoffs.

WBL should send Defiance packing to Napolean's league and add LCC. I dont know if Elida, Bath, Shawnee would like that but their wallets would love it.

Paulding is a bigger school than LCC, is that the Division II team you are refering to? Last I looked LCC was D5 along with about 1/2 of the other teams in the NWC.

No way that happens. Addimg a D5 team would hurt the WBL teams when it comes to the football playoffs

I feel that LCC would be a great fit for the BVC........even the MAC....but, I know the MAC would completely have to change the league around...plus a couple teams closer would also like to get in the MAC....heck, the BVC puts up with Liberty Benton....LCC isn't that much different!!!!!

Saying LCC would be a good fit for the BVC is the dumbest thing I've heard in a long time. Yes the BVC had 3 really good teams in football and probably 3 really good teams in basketball. The bottom half of that league is a lot worse off than the NWC. Pandora, Cory Rawson, Hardin Northern, Vanlue, and North Baltimore don't want anything to do with LCC.

Really the BVC? I could just read the headlines now: LCC beats Vanlue 91 to 0. LCC smokes Hardin-Northern. LCC would fit into the BVC like a round peg in a square hole. The BVC would never I repeat never let LCC in their conference under the present format. The MAC that is a different story. However that more then likely won't happen because of the preceived prejudices against minorities especially in the Mercer county area. LCC would fit into the WBL, however they would have to bring in a partner and this would more then likely turn this conference into a league of 2 6 team divisions for football. I am not sure that the powers to be want to make that move.

It's funny to say that the MAC would be a good fit for LCC. Last year when all the talk of LCC getting booted, I remember Vince Koza asking Coldwater's football coach if LCC could get into the MAC. Coach Otten said it best. They would not be a good fit due to the size of LCC and the area that they draw from. Vince was speechless. But....the Lima media still slams the NWC with subtle hints of LCC getting kicked out. Ex. when LCC lost to LB...Naveau tweeted that the NWC shouldn't invite LB into their conference. Usher still can't get over the fact that LCC got kicked out. Let's face it folks. The NWC will never live it down from the Lima Media that they kicked them out. Unfortunately..the Lima News holds this bias against the kids that perform on the field by not giving them the proper coverage. IMO

North Baltimore is not in the BVC.
