4 more years......

Higher unemployment....
a completely divided nation..
Continued de-valuation of the dollar worldwide...
Continued loss of respect throughout the world...even from our allies...
Continued higher gas and energy prices...
More people on food stamps...
More people on welfare....
Housing market continues to take a hit....owning a home is no longer the American dream....
National debt will continue to rise....
Printing more money.....now that will solve alot of problems...
Continue blaming the rich....
And probably one more that you will be hearing from Obama, Pelosi, Reid, and the rest of the cronies...
It's all Bush's fault.....
Man, I hope we can survive this idiot the next four years because he has no clue on how to straighten out this mess, and after 4 more years things will be worse than they are now.....you can all hold me to this....
And Blue Jay.....you need help!!!!!!!!!!!
When guns are outlawed, the outlaws will still have guns......guns are a part of American heritage......only problem with a gun is that sometimes they end up in the wrong hands.....and I don't mean this as a reference to just criminals......young people as well as old find that using a gun is the easy way out...even outlawing guns won't stop this.....you want to control knives, ropes, razor blades, drugs, poisons and anything else that can harm you.....how about educating people on the issue of suicide.....I think that may help more than trying to control the universe!!!!!!!

Blue Jay is in the minority when it comes to those issues.....hell, he may be one of those attending DSJ who has no idea what religion means.....he doesn't come from the same way of life as many of us DSJ people do!!!!

Also your stance on abortion (I assume you are one of those pro-life extremists) is extremely debatable. Saying a woman doesn't have the right to her uterus because of what's inside is like saying you don't have to right to your left hand because you may kill someone with it. Nobody WANTS to have an abortion, but should a woman be allowed the right to her own body? Absolutely.
As far as fortfan's post to me, I separate religion from government, just as Bucki said.
As long as law-abiding citizens who are responsible with guns can have and carry them, I'm OK with changes to the gun laws. But if you take that 2nd Amendment right away, strip lawful people of their Constitiutional right, then we've got a problem. I am a gun owner and an NRA member, and proud to be both. I don't need my government telling me I can't follow something in our Bill of Rights. It is my RIGHT to own and carry a gun, and as long as I ddo it safely and legally, leave me the hell alone!!
As far as your blasting me for being pro-life, well, I am proud to be that, too!! Should not an unborn child have a right to live??There is so much more to the equation than the mother and what she can and can't do with her body. Do we conveniently leave the father out of the equation?? He did have a hand in creating that life, after all. If my wanting to give an unborn child a right to live makes me an extremist in your eyes, so be it. I really don't care one bit what you think of me and my beliefs.
I am honestly a little ashamed to be a Buckeye today, knowing our state is the one that put that arrogant man back in the Oval Office. His policies and appointments over the next four years will shape this country for quite a length of time. In that case, God help us all.

How's that work? In other words you leave your religion as soon as you walk out the door of the Church? I've always been taught to live that 24 hours a day.

Perfect example. Almost EVERY county in NW Ohio voted for Josh Mandel for US Senate. Are you kidding me? 80% of NW Ohio voted for this guy just because he was a Republican. Have any of you seen or heard him? Have you guys read or researched anything this guy has done (or mostly not done...lol) over the past couple years as our State Treasurer? The guy is the definition of "politician"....nothiing more.....yet just because he was a Republican, everyone seems to think sending him to Washington is a great idea.
I'm so tired of hearing political crap from people who just repeat what everyone else is saying....and don't take 5 minutes to look into candidates or issues for themselves.

Actually you may doing exactly what you accuse others of doing. I know ful well what Madells voting record is as well as Browns voting record. Mandel certainly shares my values and concerns much more than Browns do. You hear Brown talking about how many meetings Mandel missed-but he sent a representative on his office in his place for these meetings Good enough for me.

So it's OK for the TREASURER of OHIO to skip multiple meetings with serious financial implications as long as he sends a "representative"? What if that representative was his completely unqualified college buddy???

Are you claiming that if you go to DSJ or any other catholic school, that you have to be brainwashed into a republican extremist's stance on everything. I sure hope not.

I don't even vote because it's a bunch of BS anyways, but I have to say, every time I saw Josh Mandel's commercials with himself as a soldier, all I could bring myself to think of was the movie "The Manchurian Candidate" with Raymond Prentiss Shaw.

I'll be quite frank.....I really don't give the rat's *** about gun laws or abortions when there are fish slightly bigger than those pitiful issues to deal with. If somebody is voting for somebody because of gun or abortion laws, they really need to get into touch with the big picture of things of stuff that REALLY matters like the fiscal cliff, education, employment, foreign policy etc.
