Capitolism is reeling in a lazy nation that has lost its way.

I'd rather shower at Penn State than root for Michigan.

Everybody I talk to sounds like us Wilco, and yet half of everybody you see on the street voted for him

I'm kind of assuming you are a grad of DSJ? Then I am also assuming you are Catholic? How can a Catholic justify liking a man who represents a party that wanted to leave God out of their platform? The guy that is more pro-abortion that enen Planned Parenthood? And favors g a y marriages? I know the Catholic church is against all of those things....

This is government, not the church. The government is SUPPOSED to leave god out of it's platform.
But I digress...if you want "god" in your government, you can go visit some of the Middle East and find out how that's working for them. It's doing wonders for Israel and it's friends right now.

NW Ohio is quite different and I honestly mean that from my travels across the country and world. There are similar areas in the country under the rural demographic, but it's a far cry from other areas.

Also your stance on abortion (I assume you are one of those pro-life extremists) is extremely debatable. Saying a woman doesn't have the right to her uterus because of what's inside is like saying you don't have to right to your left hand because you may kill someone with it. Nobody WANTS to have an abortion, but should a woman be allowed the right to her own body? Absolutely.
As far as fortfan's post to me, I separate religion from government, just as Bucki said.
