When does Spencerville start conditioning and practice? Seniors will have to take control of the team to make sure they get ready to go. Unfortunate situation.

And now I've heard that Wegesin is maybe just going to coach again this season. Just a rumor at this point.

They had to wait this long for that? What a waste!

Why is that a waste? Better to give it to someone they can trust and the wrestlers know.

To me this seems like just a temporary fix. I'm under the impression that Wegesin will be retiring again after this season so they will just have to go thru this all over again next year.

Just meant it was a waste of time for the kids...they have been left wondering about the season and haven't been able to work out. Just hope the powers that be plan for next year and don't have a repeat of this!

I saw that Wegesin resigned again last school meeting. I wonder if and when they will begin searching for a replacement.

I'm sure it was more of a retirement rather than a resignation. What a great career for Coach Wegesin. Had many great teams and sent a lot of wrestlers to the state meet!

As for his replacement I have heard that the interview process has started.
