I would have to disagree with you there...the year Dysert was a jr. and Heath Jackson was a freshman would beat this years team by double digits. i actually think this Ada team is probably the weakest they have had in the last five or so years.
Weaker than last year?

That may be true for most small schools that spend the entire year in a cover 3 deep zone, not really applicable to teams that spend most of the time in man-to-man. LCC may have trouble stopping Ada, but it won't be because they can't figure out the scheme.

For what it's worth, LCC has faced Ada 3 times with Staley as D-Coordinator (2005-2007) and held the Bulldogs to 13, 6, and 7 points. Obviously, the players have changed for both schools, but the schemes have not changed much. So, in summary: I think you're wrong.

Not to be a smart a$$...if it is scheme as you say...why couldn't AE stop Ada while Staley was HC?

We need a campfire, a guitar and a few verses of Kumbaya. I just want to know which team has the most Catholics?

LCC by a landslide, 28 points or more.

Weren't you arguing that LCC would struggle to stop Ada's receivers because they hadn't seen many spread offenses this year? (isn't that referring to Ada's scheme?)

Anyways, AE couldn't stop Ada while Staley was HC because Ada had the 11 best athletes on the field the majority of the time. I don't think many people would argue that Ada will be able to out-athlete LCC at the skill positions.

Ada's defense was pretty bad that year. He threw for over 500 yards with 5 tds and they still lost by 30 to HN. Offensively Ada probably isn't as good this year but all around they are much more complete. If Ada fielded even a very average defense in the past they would probably be sitting on 3-4 state titles right now.

Decker is a stud. That said, to think he's better than washington is laughable.

Lol

Let's put it this way: if you're a college scout and you have to make a decision of offering decker or washington, an you offer decker, you'll be looking for a new job.

I love the way decker runs the ball and I already said he's a stud but put all the hatred for LCC aside and realize he doesn't touch washington....seriously stop it.

No question that was a high powered offense. That was possibly the best overall offense Ada has ever had but their defense was possibly the worst defense in the league that year. If Blake Ansley comes out and has a great game against LCC, Ada takes this game by storm, because I feel LCC is going to run the ball at him every time because he's a freshman and a little undersized. No doubt he'll be one of the next Ada football greats but he's just not quite there yet with size which is too bad because he likes to hit and his football instincts are phenomenal for a freshman.

I could be wrong, but I'm guessing lcc will be extremely balanced as they will want to take full advantage of the weakest link in the ada defense....dbs.

Well week 10 is set. Should be a wild time this week in this thread.

Some fun facts.

Ada or LCC will have won every NWC title the last 7 years.

Ada is 32-1 at home since 2007. Only loss coming to LCC.

Against common opponents

LCC
42 avg ppg
11.1 avg given up per game

Ada
40.3 avg ppg
14.1 avg given up per game

I couldn't care less how far you go back but this game wasn't a rivalry until lcc was in the nwc and both teams were good. These teams have put together some good games over the years and this one has the potential to be the same.

last years team was pretty weak. This year Ada has the best defense that they have had in the last five years and their offense is just as explosive as in years past.

Blake Ansely is Ada's weak spot you people are saying but he is second on the team in tackles (behind his brother) and stepped up when Jacob was out against Allen East and had 21 tackles that game. He is a stud and only a freshman too.
