LCC in the MAC would first struggle but the following years after that would succceed. Why i say that is because athletes develope to the level of their compettition. LCC is full of amazing athletes, give those atheles a year to adjust to that style of football, and give a good xcoach to adjust to that style of football and success will come.

Is that what you told the rest of the coaches after getting kicked out of the allmighty NWC? I don't know why we speculate LCC playing in the MAC. It will never happen.
A. They wouldn't compete.
B. The people of these towns would never sink to letting trash like you into their communities, even if it is for only four weeks.

I strong dislike hearing comments that Kennedy made especially point b and the sentence that followed. That being said a lot of that particular statement is probably true to many of the people that live in the counties of Mercer and Van Wert. Not being from that area however knowing family members that frequent that area in regards to work there is a lot of bigotry that prevails in that region. Its not right, but it is the truth. I got my eyes opened up about bigotry and bias against LCC last March following their loss to O-G in the tournament. As I was standing next to a police officer of all people waiting for the traffic to clear [ I was a pedestrian in a walkway] the cop told me that he was glad O-G won. I asked him why he even cared and he told me in unmistakened terms what he thought of certain members of our society and how the LCC and other private institutions of the state cheat to get certain athletes to come to their school and how they don't end up paying a dime but are funded by alumni who donate to the school. In that 3 minute conversation my head almost spun off my shoulders. And this was from a cop of all people!!! So if any of you posters do not believe that bigotry and bias prevail in this area you are only kidding yourselves. Bottom line is that there are a lot of sports fans or people as far as that goes that have a hell of a time seeing minorities playing for a private school. Thats why LCC was asked to leave the NWC. And like Kennedy said and a lot of other posters have said is that they are not going to end up in the MAC. Not now not ever!!!

Great post. And this isnt even from an LCC poster. I am glad there are some people out there that do understand the strong hatred toward LCC and other private schools and choose not to participate in it. Dakota, good post!

I would also like to add, that LCC will probably never carry the votes to enter the MAC.....they just don't fit in!!!!!!!

I do deny that one iota. I see it and have seen it all my life. A lot of that has to do with ignorance and not ever being around minorites on a daily basis. I for one have worked with them over the course of nearly 40 years and they for the most part have a different view on various things. And to finish up a lot of Caucasians would be amazed that minorities are great people to work with and to share ideas with. However they aren't around them and sadly a lot of them are glad that they do not come in contact with them.

As a student at LCC in recent years, I kinda like the fact that so many people hate us. Made it more fun when we won games we weren't supposed to...
