Not really, as it wasn't that indicative to last year either. Ada crushed Spencer last year too. Fell seems to have Spencer figured out.

The ada and Spencerville game was favored towards Spencerville. Fell put 6 players on the dl to stuff the run. I think we can say that it worked well. Hats off to the defensive line! Best I've seen in years

Spencerville should have been a good game but Ada just dominated.

The favored team in that game was the team that has won like, what? the last 6 matchups, has Ben to the playoffs each of the last 5 seasons, been state ranked the last 4 seasons, etc. Here's a hint: it wasn't Spencerville.

LCC is pretty down this year, but the only problem is Ada's spread offense plays right into the hands of LCC's defensive strengths. The ball swings both ways though as I'm not sure how successful LCC's offense would be vs. Ada's defense.

Yeah actually Spencerville was favored to win the game, believe it or not. If you read the Lima newspaper people favored Spencerville.. They thought that ada was going to be weak this year (As did I).. People also thought that Spencerville was going to win it due to the amount of starters they had returning this year. Last year ada and Spencerville both went 8-2 in the regular season I believe

Personally, the Lima newspaper is pretty clueless when it comes to football especially when you look at some of their picks. Picks on that game here were pretty 50/50 and I picked Ada to win.

Ada shut out spencerville and seeing as how LCC had a really tough time stopping them, Lcc will not be able to handle Ada's balanced out run and passing attack.
