I remember back in the "old days" there was a woman that posted the things she made for breakfast every day on jjhuddle. She made a feast everyday…

I might be the worst when it comes to eating a good breakfast. Yesterday I got up early enough to have some Raisin Bran. Today it's a couple of oatmeal-raisin cookies with a pepsi. There are some mornings that I will stop and get a sandwich at the carry-out. I have even had chili dogs on the way to work in the morning.

So…what do you guys usually have for breakfast?

Usually just a tall cup of coffee.

Usually something sweet with coffee. If I eat a lot, it seems to start me onto a heavy eating day

When I pass a McD's, the breakfast burrito and McMuffin are my favorites.

Ah, the McDonalds Burrito. Two is too many, one is not enough.

I had a Jimmy Dean sausage and egg biscuit with a banana a small glass of sunny d and a cup of coffee. Some days I will eat waffles or make scrambled eggs, but I always eat a banana for breakfast and always have a cup of coffee.

i'm not much of your traditional breakfast time eater 'cause dinner usually isn't until around 11pm-3am for me....lol.....and i really don't allow time of day dictate what i need/want to eat.... i'm fairly unusual, i guess  , 'cause i LOVE fruits & veggies...but, i also LOVE my meats/protiens....

i used to love a McDonald's sausage mcmuffin, but, i now make my own and freeze them to be ready to zap in the mic..... i use pork sausage (old folks or bob evans) with poached eggs (to get the 'rubbery' like feeling of mickey d's) and i usually ONLY use Velveeta loaf cheese, but, for my 'slicemuffins', it has to be the slices.....and of course, on lightly buttered (real butter), broiled, muffins..... YUMMY!

other than those, i love yogurt w/granola or fruits..'specially melons!! i can scarf down several melons (all kinds) a day! lol also, strawberries, bananas, pears, etc...i could go on & on... i guess u get the message...i  fruit! lol whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner! :D

Usually a few cups of hot coffee will do the trick.

A few years ago I went on an instant oatmeal kick and ate the stuff every morning for about a year.

Now I hardly ever eat anything for breakfast, I think breakfast is over rated.

However- I'll echo the McD's breakfast burritos. I did get one of their burrito meals within the last week. It makes no sense but I love those things.

i'm not big on fast food at all, so just trying to remember from having demanding kids on my hands, isn't there a dif 'tween their regular burrito and the mcskillet? seems i'd had a regular and liked it, and then at a later point asked mr slice to pick me up one and he got something different/wrong...LOL ... <i'm sure none of you husbands have ever done that, right? lol

The Sausage Burrito is a wee thing. (about like a soft taco at Taco Bell). It has eggs, cheese, sausage, (duh) and irritating little green and red peppers. The Mcskillet is much larger and I only had it once so I don't remember what's on it

The McSkillet was a work of art. One whole sausage patty cut in two. Eggs, potatoes, onions and peppers. The key to it was the chipotle salsa/sauce that was put on it. This all came on a full size burrito. I was devistated when they discontinued it.

Weak-10 - Breakfast IS over rated. However, my brother, who has his own nursing practice in Wapak, lectured me about how breakfast can actually help prevent diabetes. Eating ANYTHING is better than eating nothing. Anything to get your system working.

Woke up early yesterday and was hungry for more than cereal but didn't have enough time to make something at home. Decided to try Subway. VERY impressed. 6" bacon egg and cheese flatbread. Got the pepperjack on it and onions. Topped it with Southwest Chipotle sauce. Got a coffee with it for a total of $3.

I always get a sausage burrito or two from McD's when we get breakfast from there. Love them.

The best thing we could do to prevent diabetes is step away from our monitors and spit out our Pop Tarts, lol

I got a Subway breakfast... sub/sammich.... a few months ago and it was pretty good. Definitely do it again. I like to workout early in the mornings to get my body going and then eat a fairly early lunch.

The reason I got off the instant oatmeal kick was the vast amount of sugar in it.

Forget this one:

My wife is ADDICTED to breakfast. She absolutely cannot and will not function until she has had something forr breakfast. If she wakes up and I'm emptying the dishwasher and I say "Hey, could you hand me that pan to put away?" She gets that devil look in her eyes and says "I haven't ate breakfast yet, I'll help you when I'm done eating"... which by that time I'm done doing whatever it is I was doing.

Seriously- is taking the recycling out to the garage so taxing on ones body that you cannot do it without having a bowl of Cheerios first?

I'll never understand her.
