he will be a star in the NBA in two to three years. And that's because I am allowing to make sure he is done growing, and he can start filling in that frame. But he will be an immediate impact player. He has better all around potential than Oden did from OSU, coming out.

I hope you are right but I see him more as a thin Blake Griffin......

He still hasn't announced, but his mom wants him to stay in school, and his dad told him he crazy for staying.
He didn't declare on the air last night, but from his mannerism, and tone. He is gone, and will be the number one draft.
He is also taller and longer than Griffin, and Griffin last time I checked is doing very well in the NBA. So even he is only a Griffin, as you put it Vic, I wouldn't call that a failure.

Where did I say he would be a failure?

FROM ESPN
Jay Bilas brings up some interesting points. Some points I think that would affect Crafts defensive style. If you haven't read; this it is worth a read, if you like college basketball he brings up some really valid points.
One area I totally agree with him on is the Time outs he wants to elimate some timeouts. There is way to much stoppage in college basketball.

I'd like to see the college game officiated more like an NBA game.....
let the guys play and please eliminate the charge rule. Stupid rule anyway.

One point i think is valid, is that the college referee's are independently contracted by the NCAA instead of being run by the NCAA to mandate that they call the game correctly
Another point:
In college hoops right now, there is too much impeding (bumping and chucking) an offensive player off his intended path. A defender can beat a cutter to a spot and make that player go around him but cannot bump the player and ride him off his cut. Similarly, a driver coming off of a ball screen cannot be bumped off his path by a help defender who is hedging hard behind that screen.
I liked this one.
College officials have become far too demonstrative in making their calls. Whether it is signaling a charge or identifying a player who has been fouled, there is no reason to jump around, signal the call three or four times or have a scowl on one's face while doing it. Too many officials are acting like clowns out there and more closely resemble Enrico Palazzo from "The Naked Gun" than mature professionals. Is this a capital offense?
He went on issues with lane violations, and time outs. That there is way to many time outs in college basketball. Which I totally agree with.
(I) I am in favor of eliminating the "use it or lose it" timeout in the first half and would like to see timeouts reduced significantly. There are too many media timeouts to allow coaches to have so many.
(II) There is no reason for college basketball to continue, year after year, to fail to address the current media timeout mess. We have far too many situations in which coaches call a timeout right before a media timeout so there is a five-minute break in action. That is ridiculous.
(III) I am in favor of only having players in possession of the ball calling timeouts, not coaches on the sidelines or other players on the floor.
(IV) The scoring team should not be able to call a timeout immediately after making a field goal. Once the ball goes through the net, you no longer have possession of the ball, so how can you call a timeout?
(V) This is controversial, but I think we should consider allowing timeouts to be called only when there is a dead ball. I cannot think of another sport in which timeout can be called when the ball is in play. Why should a player being trapped or in trouble be allowed to call a timeout to get out of that trouble? This is certainly worthy of discussion.
(VI) When a timeout is called in the backcourt, there should not be a reset of the 10-second count. College basketball is way behind on this one, and way behind in timeouts in general.

I'm such an NBA guy, I'd like to see some of their rules used......advancing the ball to half court after a timeout, etc....

Agreed.
I think Peyton Siva is getting a little over-hyped based on Louisville's run to the Final Four. He was a good player for them, but still plays out of control, has a poor outside shot, and questionable decision making. He may be top 5 based on talent alone, but otherwise not sure about #2.
Burke won't surprise anyone next year (as he did for a while this year), but he's going to be called on to do even more for UM next year.
I also think someone like Keith Appling or Myck Kabongo may rise toward the top this year. It's hard to project that in a ranking such as this, but they are ultra-talented guys who will be starting their second year at the PG position. I expect both to make big jumps on this "list."

And then the only quotes are from Dad? No comments from Aaron or his coach? Just seems odd to me.
