Arlington faithful does NOT want LB to leave, I can assure you.

If expansion is done correctly, I am for it. If the schools mentioned pull stakes and leave the BVC to the likes of HN, Vanlue, CR and Arlington - I would vomit and begin my quest to become an avid fan of symphony orchestra...

Bluffton would be a great addition to the BVC.

When is BVC vote on expansion....I know they wanted to know by end of May.....maybe these rumors being "leaked" out now to try and sway Arlington and others to vote for expansion otherwise they will be left with a crappy league when the Big 4 leave and grab some other area schools with them to form new league. Seems like Arlington is the swing vote need to get the 8 votes according to most huh?

Why? In the current state of the BVC, I don't want to be part of it.

Cropman is a bit chippy these days...

As for me, I am still whistling dixie with Arlington athletics being in a very good place right now. Winning a state championship and making state semi's in same year puts us in pretty elite company so Crops' comments don't bother me.

Now if our football team can follow suit..things would be about perfect.

Posty, not sure where you get your info, but I sat with 2 Arlington administrators and an Arcadia admin at the BVC meet on Friday and the all concurred that the want LB to be gone. The beat down LB put on the rest of the field was their main complaint.

If Atown doesn't vote in favor of expansion they will be left behind to form the VSC.......Very Sh@TTY Conerence.

First off, congrats to you guys and the great bball season you had. Anyways, sorry but I disagree; all I EVER hear from Arlington folk is LB needs to leave. If you feel that way you are a very, very small minority.

Did a little homework as to why Arlington does not want to add any additional compettion such as H-L and Ada to the BVC expansion process. Looking at the past 4 years Arlington is 1 win & 11 losses against McC-Leipsic and LB. Their average losses against those teams are like 37-14. As long as they can go 7-3 they still have a shot at playoffs. Add in Coach Metzkers comments from the paper and it all makes sense.

What Buckshot said +1. Also, Arlington's administrators have requested a sit down with L-B's admin. I think they are worried what might happen if expansion is nixed and the Red Devils, Vanlue, HN and other dissenters may be left swinging in the breeze on their own.

Interesting, funny though...dislike LB, quick to voice opinion wish LB wasn't in BVC, but not that push comes to shove they are like wait....don't leave. Does anyone know if talk of schools even leaving BVC if expansion gets shot down is true?

I don't think anyone has a crystal ball that can forsee the future for sure, but I think it may be a disinct possibility that a few of the school's try and break off and get another league formed with some other schools.

Million dollar question is, Arlington votes no, some of top schools branch off....Does A-Town ask "can we come" or stay with league that doesn't expand and doesn't have LB, two things they want?

What's the status of soccer in A-town? If you add varsity soccer, kiss any chance of success out the windown. Look at the others in the league who've added soccer, VB, Cory, PG. Nothing against soccer, but just can't do it at small schools.

I wonder if a vote on all this takes place May 23 as scheduled?
Always a watchful eyes on those Tiffin Calvert Senecas, Marion Local Flyers, Fort Loramie Redskins , New Albany Eagles.
