I can't beleive I'm going to say this but if Garber heads to another BVC school....I would think LB is the best fit. One of the best academic schools and best overall basketball program for a soon to be college player.

Apparently more than one Wildcat member will be on the Panther bench this winter

Need a big man. Our recruiters have failed for many years to get any size for Coach Willy. Not since Mealer days. Time to step up.

Big men are not part of L-B offense unless you can shoot the 3

Yea, Garber's girlfriend (as you know attends McComb) has said that he has asked her to pick up transfer papers for him. Jokingly as for now, but we all know how that goes. If he does end up at McComb, I have a feeling most of the other teams in the BVC are gonna be playin' for second. Can't really see anyone beating the already decent team + Garber, outside of a (major) upset.

Considering that LB has not had a legitimate back-to-the-basket player since Mealer back in 2001, that would be an accurate statement ;) .

The other horse in the race will be LB, they return alot, and have a some size that could give Garber some fits. They return all their guards, from last year. That should be the game to see in the BVC if he goes there.
And isn't it at LB next year? So should be a nice crowd. Again, that is of course hypertheotically since he was only joking about the transfer papers.

Sling, What is it that is confusing you? and Game, I agree LB will be the other front runner, on top of a "could be" Leipsic team, but what (talented) height is LB returning that will be able to even slow down Garber?

I would say, at this point, it seems as if McComb will be the choice. If not, I do not see him joining another BVC team. He will take his talents to a D1 school. Findlay?

There is no possible way McComb can even be in the running. Everyone knows LB is the correct choice here.

Well, when you have various friends since early junior high that all go to the same school, changes the outlook of what is correct and what isn't. A teenage boy wants to have fun. Friends = fun. and Garber isn't playing for anything else this year. He would have an equal chance at winning D4 state with the Panthers as he would in D3 state with the Eagles. The only difference between the two teams is that Garber has various long time friends at McComb, very few if any at L-B. Plus, you know how young guys are with their girlfriends and such...

McComb will be good w/ Garber as any team would be. I hope it's not true but sounds pretty legit. Sure wish he would have come to state semi-finalist team in Arlington :).

I still say Arlington will be in the running next year but some tough road games at McComb (if Garber plays), @ LB, & @ Leipsic lie ahead. Give Atown one more year, and they should be front runners with a chance at a deep run at state again...very, very talented soph class with solid players coming up.

If you're going leave the community you grew up in for another school...at least go to one thats going to make you better and help you get ready for college play. Not sure how this move is going to help him one bit. Feel bad for the people of Vanlue who supported him all these years.

i saw the LB Vanlue game this past year and Garber was a non-factor. Not saying he is not talented but in that game he was not very productive.
