Again....can't imagine either of these two even considering it....though I will say that neither of them would give a rat's you know what about what the parents of the current players have to say.....so maybe they should hire one of them :)

Really? A current teacher? If you're going to consider qualified applicants, that would cut it to exactly TWO people. I can't imagine either of them wanting it....

one has already had the job.....

and the other is a pretty succesful boys coach

Again....can't imagine either of these two even considering it....though I will say that neither of them would give a rat's you know what about what the parents of the current players have to say.....so maybe they should hire one of them :)

Actually 3 on staff have had the title of OG girls varsity basketball coach...........in order, Stumpy, Rhonda Osterhage and Kerry Ducey.

I need another hint rocketman

Mansfield Madison job is open. Ron Hetler resigned after a 3-18 season. Rams are young and have some talent. The right coach could move the program forward.

Got it, heard that name also. He has coached boys basketball at OG at multiple levels and at this point is really the only viable internal candidate. Didn't he apply when coach Sweet retired and was passed over in favor of Josh Leslie due to lack of varsity experience? Let's see if anyone outside of the system with varsity experience replies. I'm guessing the interview process begins next week with the new coach being named at the May 8th BOE meeting. Wouldn't want to wait until June and have a new coach miss out on summer ball.

He already coaches. Are you allowed more than one coaching job?

I think you can coach multiple sports, I know a couple of the football assistants coach track.............though not as head coach in both sports, that would be a lot on anyone's plate, especially in back to back seasons.

My guess is he would resign as head softball coach if the girls basketball job were to be offered.

With all these crazy parents everywhere, why would anyone want to coach anymore. Too many coaches sitting in the stands. :shrug2:

I had the last laugh. Muahahaha
