Why is it that she should remain the coach? If the school does their due dilligents and makes the best POSSIBLE hire, then that coach will be dedicated as well. It will be hard not to do better than 7-13.
If she stays she will win more than 7 games! The point is could anyone else have won more than 7 games this past season? Thats a question no one can answer since we can't redo the past.

I don't believe Landess falls in the parent line - just a coach who seems to know it ALL about girls basketball and he will argue about anything and everything!! He needs to keep his negative comments to himself.

Winit...... He is obviously drinkin' buddies with some of the dad's of these underclassmen who want her out. Its a shame.,..... since he is an AAU coach and AAU coach only- he gets to handpick his starlets every year and not have to go thru growing pains with talent and such. Lori did and always has done the best with what she is GIVEN year end and year out. That is the true meaning of a good coach........... BAM!

All AAU is a scam ! Landess tells the kids and the parants, Because they ( HAVE MONEY) how good they are then they think they are going TO SOME BIG COLLEGE. Its all about the money not the kids. Alot of people fall for this.

Filming the coach in order to create a powerpoint presentation for the school board? THAT IS PATHETIC! I hope Lori resigns herself, these parents are acting so juvenile about everything. I don't care what anyone says about Lori, I will never have anything bad to say about that woman.

Why do you keep commenting on how innappropriate she is acting? I have to ask, were you in the locker room or do you know someone who wants her job?....pathetic

Maybe someone should film these complaining parents sitting in the parking lots drinking before the games and show that to the board.

After reading this entire thread I have to wonder why anyone would want to be a coach.

As I read this, I wonder how many of the parents that are not only bashing the coaching staff at OG but seem to be more on a vengence, sit in church every weekend like they are good binding parents who are following God's will. As a matter of fact, most of the parents in question, I have seen in church several times with thier children still in either soccer or softball uniforms, running in to "make it" to church after a sporting event! I wonder if all the way to church you were thinking of all the ways to thank God for everything he has given you, or you were downgrading the coaches in those sports too? I think you parents need to back up and realize what "life" is about and start teaching your children the same thing. I love sports, but it is time "we adults" put life in perspective and let the kids play sports to have fun. Encourage them to play their best with a good attitude!

Bystander1 - you crack me up how you became a member to lash out at Randy & Jamie. I am sure you still think that charliesheen and outsider are them even though I know as a fact they are not. If you check before you lash, you will see that member: charliesheen ususally posts in "boys basketball", not girls. It may have been that Randy and Charlie have the same hair-do is why you got confused, but I am sure he spends more time preparing for girls basketball rather than boys.

Again, this PROVES you do not have your facts straight, therefore how can you have any creditability in your words when I know for a fact those comments are not true?

Find GOD and you will find your answers! Prayers to all of you people who think you are doing a good job raising your children that are involved in this non-sense!

Woodynbo: might want to add "at OG".

I know, I know. Before you all jump all over me, I realize that it hapoens everywhere. But I don't hear of it going to this extreme everywhere. Videotaping the coach!! Really??? Wow! That's a little embarrassing.

I was at Tucker's pharmacy last evening when none other than Vivian Stringer walked through the door looking for directions to OG high school. Said she had an interview with Al about the girls basketball head job. She was super nervous because she knew Geno Auriemma had an interview the next day...........

I kid. I kid.

milt73..... I was drinking my water here at my desk and read your post and literally spit it out. I was laughing so hard!!!! And the sad part is... IF people like Coach Stringer and Auriemma would get the job; some parents would STILL find beef with what they do and how they do it. SMDH................

Maybe they could get Kim Mulkey from Baylor. If the parents think Lori is intense, they should see that woman on the sidelines :)

"Sadly, when the “fun” element gets removed (like in Michigan high school story), many good people decide to walk away as a result."
Doesn't sound like in this particular instance at OG, the girls are having much fun and are thus not going out.
I have had several people whose girls are in elementary school telling me this coach needs to go. They have no vested interest at this point.
