I don't have establishments "bugged"...and neither does anyone else who's posted here.....you don't have to.....it's painfully obvious who the problem parents are.....they don't hide it.....and never have. Do you need a videotape (or maybe an audio recording) to prove it to you.....lol
I'm done with this thread.....have fun with it kids.....lol

But I think you're wrong and here's why.
...this coaching staff keeps trying to drive a wedge between the coaches and the parents.
There is no logical reason for a coach to do this unless it is their perception that their parents are "too involved". If you think that you need to take an active role in your child's development and that they need you to reach their "potential", then you are probably deluding yourself.
If you are second-guessing the coach on ANYTHING in front of your daughter you are the problem. Not the coach. If you think it makes them feel better and you are "repairing" their self-esteem by making the coach the monster and not analyzing the child's own performance or effort level, then YOU are the problem
I've got news for you, most kids will choose their parents over their coaches any day.
Well duh! That's why bashing the coach is the WORST thing you can do for your child to learn how to deal with their problems.
Are you going to go to college, hold her hand and yell at their profs if your daughter doesn't do well? Maybe their bosses when he is "too mean" to them, and damages their fragile self-esteem? I pity the man that is going to marry your precious little girl and might have the audacity to argue with her.
Especially when the coaching bad mouths the parents in front of them.
If the parents stay out of the way, don't talk about the coach and other kids, then there would be absolutely no reason for the coach to say anything about ignoring their parents.
You implicate yourself with this one.
Pay attention to the boys program and see how the parents and coaches work together. You may learn something.
No, you would. There are two boys that are seniors who are not starting now that are great kids that have worked their butts off. But you won't hear them, or their parents badmouthing the coach because they aren't starting anymore.
That's because its a TEAM game, and how the TEAM does is more important than which kid gets to play or not.
Finally, how would you like it if your neighbor videotaped you yelling or disciplining your child, then edited it and turned it into the police? No parent is perfect, and neither is any coach.
Glass houses and stones.

However, coaching them from grades K-8 in CYO and jr. high PCL does not in anyway qualify them to pass judgement on the coach's ability to do her job.
There is another point that maybe should be brought up on top of all this.
OGHS is paying this coach to do her job, and its the AD's responsibility to make sure that she as well as all of the coaches are doing so. He is a good AD, so let him do his job. If there is a problem from the POV of a parent, there is nothing wrong with going to the AD and expressing your concern. If he chooses not to take action, that's his decision. If excessively harsh treatment occurs, its his job to deal with the coach and attempt to adjust that behavior.
In this case, I think the parents were disatisfied and went over his head to the Superintendent. That to me crosses the line and is effectively questioning the AD's judgement and the ability to do HIS job.
Hopefully the Superintendent will support his AD and allow him to do his job. OG sports are very good across the board, and compete very well in the WBL despite being one of the smaller schools. The AD has had a hand in this success, and doesn't deserve people questioning HIS competency in evaluating his coaches.
If the AD is satisfied that this coach is doing her job in a competent manner, its a dangerous precedent to allow a group of parents to manipulate the Superintendent to undercut his AD and run a coach out because they "don't agree with her style".

Correction on this quote....OG has been THE smallest school in the WBL for better than 8yrs now.
Owl your past two post have been top notch! Very true. As a friend of an OG coach I can vouch for most of what you said. As for the AD you again are correct. He will confront the coach if/when there are any problems.
Coaches should coach and parents should cheer and support the program and kids. To hear that parents are trying to run a coach or coaches out is embarrassing to our great school district. I know one school board member will stand behind Coach S.
The problem with this board is ANYONE can come on here and spew crap about someone and hide behind their screen name. If that is you (Landess and anyone else) why not sack up and leave your real name!

Here is what I'm saying, if it's so bad? What's keeping you there? Why are you playing for a coach who is so bad at what she does? IF the coach was back the next season, would your daughter be going out for the team?
Someone posted, some of these parents are on their 2nd or 3rd go around with the coach. If it was always this bad, why didn't they have a problem earlier? If it was always this bad, why would you let your daughter play for them again? If you know what you're getting into, how can you possibly complain about it? You live in the community and knkow who the coach is and how she coaches. If you people are so high and mighty about moral things such as cursing, why would you let your daughter be apart of something like that?
If it's something that has been a problem and you don't want your daughter to play for such a horrible coach/person, Landess, soccer, bysttander, etc. I think you guys failed as parents far before the season started.

Last time I checked, very few HS coaches had time to go to junior high practices....let alone run the practice to put in the stuff they want. That's up to the junior high coaches. In OG, I'm not sure the HS coach has any say in who coaches the junior highs....either boys or girls. That decision is up to the principals at the respective elementary schools. Most times, if they get someone who says they'll do it...they have the job. Whether or not you're qualified isn't necessarily part of the decision. Don't get me wrong....they have had some good coaches in the past...both boys and girls....but they've also had some who were doing because nobody else wanted it.
