Was told LCC only sold 800 tickets on Wed. OG sold 1700+ for their Wed. game and had people on both sides of court.

Lol would you guys get over it? Lcc had both sides of the court as well. This game will come down to the players and coaching staffs. As important as some fans think they are, they're not...I think lcc has better players and a better coach so I think they win.

Ok saying the 2010 team had less talent maybe wasn't what I was trying to say. The team this year is definitely more athletic though. And I agree, the 2010 team was better coached

I haven't had the opportunity to talk with 'Sheen yet but I don't think anything he says will change my mind on this game.........
Free throws and turnovers will decide this game

Neither of which the titans do well........the NWC Will extend their dominance over area teams In a rather convincing fashion.........

LCC 43
OG 33

My thoughts on the game...well some of them.

OG had 2/3 of the crowd. Where were all the LCC fans?......the OG crowd was huge loud and into the game.

I thought that LCC pretty much was undisciplined the whole game. Lots of stupid shots at critical points in the game. They definately had more talent...defensively and athletically. In my opinion one of the players off the bench is taking the whole team down. I won't say his name or number....but I can see him being a handful for both Coach Kill and the LCC administration. He is one heck of a player though...very, very, talented. He just seems to me that he is out there for himself and not the team.

OG just flat out wanted it more than LCC.

There was a stretch where I thought that one of the refs was purposely trying to keep LCC in the game. 3 or 4 questionable calls all went against OG.

Bramlage is going to be a force for 3 more years...IF he keeps working hard and keeps playing team ball.

I loved the arena....WONDERFUL place to watch a game. Loud too...

I don't post to often but tonight I will give my observations. Refs were a non factors maybe 2 or 3 questionable calls which were pretty evenly split between both teams. The difference in the game was #20 for OG, once they started to find him in the second half. OG offense was much better from then on, LCC didn't have an answer for him. OG hit their free throws down the stretch LCC not so much.
Boater we never lost to LCC in '77 or '78, all 4 games were close, but we always prevailed, the start of a great rivalry.

Wow, what a game......as Hound Dog said, I think OG wanted it more....and seemed to handle the "underdog" role much better than LCC handled the favorite role. Kind of reminds me of the LCC football run. Just like in football....most people seemed to be handing the Final Four spot to LCC....but the OG kids had other ideas. I think the key was Bramlage. I really think LCC would have loved to keep O'Connor on the bench when he got in foul trouble, but as soon as he went out, LCC couldn't handle Bramlage and Rosebrock. Bramlage only had 3 points, but I've got to think he was double digits in boards.....and a HUGE block on an LCC breakaway. Crowd was a huge factor in my opinion.....LCC is lucky to have 400 fans at their home games, so playing in front of a crowd that had to be 70% OG had to have some effect.

Congrats to the Titans.....enjoy the victory and have some fun next weekend......you've exceeded everyone's expectations. The pressure is off.....relax, play hard and see what happens.

Titans Rock! The " chief" TJ Metzger kept OG in the game in the first half and hit 4 out 4 clutch foul shots in the 2nd half and Mike Rosebrock kicked it into gear in the 2nd half. Great effort by the titans. Ty Mac had this team ready to play, great job by him and his staff.

Titan man we had 4 league losses and the losses to patrick Henry and LCC,I am pretty sure? Then the loss in columbus to portsmouth. The LCC game Spencer went off for 20, but we came up short.
I agree with your thoughts on the game, the titans had a few t/o's that hd me worried in the last 4 minutes, but they held up defensively.
Awesome game last night. the biggest difference was LCC not hitting foul shots. I didn't see LCC being more talented, they did have more consistent outside shooters, but the titans looked much stronger on the boards. Great defensive effort from both teams.

Bramlage had 5 boards. 3 of them offensive. He did have a couple great defensive plays.

OG did two things well tonight that LCC did not. Rebound and make free throws. LCC missed 4 straight free throws at very clutch times in the 4th quarter that cost them the game, not to mention the offensive rebound they allowed OG to get that gave them the lead for good was costly. The Rosebrock kid was an animal and LCC had no answer.

I know who Hound Dog is referring to, and I think youre mistaken a little bit. While yes I agree with your assessment of him last night, and I even had the same thoughts a few times throughout the game, he is a good kid. While he may be a handful for Kill (I dont know) I do know that he is a well behaved kid in school and isnt on the administrations watch list. I dont know what his deal was tonight though, it was sad to see that selfish behavior out there.

What a great game to watch last night. Having watched both teams play a number of times throughout the year. This was the best game the titans have played. LCC couldn't maintain for 32 minutes in the face of the aggressive defense and I do think the crowd played a role as well. The best team last night won. However I don't think the titans would want a best of 7 series. good luck at state.

Great game between LCC and OG again. It would be hard to find a better rivalry in the state. OG did exactly what they had to do to win the game. Make a few shots to keep them from clogging the lane and then pound it into Rosebrock. I think some on here were making this game out to be a big mismatch which it wasn't. Been alot of talk on here about LCC's D, but OG's D isn't too shabby either. O'Connor's foul trouble definitely played a big role as no one else was able to contain Rosebrock. I also thought LCC took alot of bad shots but maybe that's because nobody has guarded them like that this year. Hope to see this game in the regional finals for many years to come!
