Really? LCCs schedule will cause them to lose? Please. They won a state title two years ago with less talent and the exact same schedule. Im not too sure if LCC loses tonight, their schedule will be the reason why. It will be be because OG out plays them and deserves to win the game.

I disagree with the less talent statement. They were very talented and better coached. No offense to Frank, he's coming along just fine.

Less talented?? 2 Stolly's, Steiger and Kirkman were pretty good, and I'm not buying OG's strength of schedule being a big advantage in this game tonight. LCC's non- conference schedule is made up of 6 WBL teams (one of whom they played twice) and other traditionally solid teams (Delphos SJ, Liberty Benton, Lima Senior)

...along with the fact they are the area's most consistently talent-laden programs!

Their schedule isn't challenging?? Bath twice, Grove, OG, Crestview, Spencerville, LB, Ada, Elida.....I guess they should start scheduling D1 teams to appease haters like you....Don't get me wrong, I don't like LCC, but I still recognize a good team when I see one....

To clarify - "want" to me is all what you do to prepare, execute, and finally believe! In '78 the T-birds were the prohibitive favoirites agaisnt us ( O-G). In the regular season they more than "handled" us. They had more talent than we did , more height, better shooters - blah blah blah ..... but when we stepped on that floor we believed we could beat them ..and we prepared for exactly that outcome.
So "want" to me is not a simplistic as you have stated, or rather insinuated, but I think you now have a better understanding of what I meant when I read it.

And don't forget the cheering sections.....if one or the other take their time getting back to their seats after a potty break or a stop at the concession stand at half.......then momentum will shift in the 3rd qtr and she's all over.
