guys that only pay attention to girls basketball?

I voted yes mostly because I didn't know that Bo feller you're talking about. If he's the one on the Dukes of Hazzard though, I change my vote.

i guess to me, it's not a big deal, but, i CERTAINLY have wondered why in the world would a GUY be more interested in girls' bball and NOT boys'? what's the 'allure', i guess? less size, less physical contact, etc...... so what'd be your draw to ONLY pay attention to that sport?

I find it a little odd....there are a couple of people who must like basketball but for some reason post and read exclusively on the girls side and NEVER on the boys, and travel around the state watching only girls basketball? Heck, most basketball fans don't follow the girls basketball teams from their own communites.

I think it is creepy if women exclusively follow football and male ballet......something about the bulges.....did I spell ballet right...looks different!!!!

Flounder, you suffer from a basic understanding of the female. The only "bulge" they look for is a wallet.

If someone would have told me 20 yrs ago that I would have been a big fan of girls HS. basketball. I would have laughed myself to death ....but....being a father of 3 daughters and no sons .....and having one share the same passion....hey ...im loving it ! still follow the boys too

It's a case-by-case deal. Some guys may be exclusively watching girls' ball for the wrong reasons, yes, but a great many more are fans of the game, parents of players, or otherwise invested.

I like coaching girls more than boys. I'm more laid back coaching girls and don't get as fired up haha. It's just hard to get too mad at a girl's team.
Another note: How many coaches once had "unsuccessful" stints on the boys side and then went over to the girls side. Rusty Allen comes to mind. How successful was Greg Mauk? What were his reasons for going from boys to girls?
