I have all ready talked to a few returning football players who know the truth who have said they can no longer play for Carpenter. What a shame!

The fact that you only joined RC to only discuss this topic is comical. Is the comment section on the Lima News article dead? If you believe this is that big of a deal, perhaps you should consider moving.

There are actually a few different meanings to adjudicated, so perhaps you need to inform us of which you claim is in effect? And, also, if you do have a problem with the term felons, which as far as I've seen is the case according to the LN, 'real media'(which many of you seem very fond of, when it suits you), you need to take it up with them..... As for me and my record......ive made it clear I'm no angel and It's not anything that I haven't addressed here already in the past..... There is only one meaning in this case.which is why I have tried to tell you they are not. those who live in glass houses shouldnt throw rocks and your house is def made of glass!I have no vedetta or agenda with Carp. I know for a fact that he did that to Brandon. He knows he did it as well.Carp had nothing to do with the punishment they recieved thru the school so why would I have a problem with him? I do however have a problem with the lying! Diglia never once denied that the incident happened during his meeting with Mrs Magg,he only denied it when the media got ahold of it.and as far as the sheriff dept investigating?there was never one.That is decided by the procecuters office and they encouraged Mrs Magg to seek an attorney as the time statue had expired on a simple assult.

i haven't been in this forum for close to 2 wks....buuuut, blah, blah, blah, yada, yada, yada......i've asked you what your meaning of adjudicated means that clears them as not being felons (as that really seems the crux of your agrument with/against me) as has been repeatedly reported by the LN and you've failed to explain why the LN is wrong & you are correct in your claims... i have to believe that the parents of those young men would be much more interested in leveling slander/libel cases against the LN for reporting such damaging 'untruths' instead of merely refocusing their attentions on the Elida admin & employees~~if it was, indeed, incorrect....

and as for the sheriff's & prosecutor's offices; they're lying, too? unbelievable!!!! what a huge conspiracy!
i'd guess that, as you suggest, that why the prosecutor's office told her to get an atty was because there was no LEGAL basis for a law suit in the 1st place (almost 'passing the buck', if you will) ~~that had an inquiry/preliminary 'investigation' already been done by the sheriff's office 1st, and them finding no grounds to go further.... really...what would/do you expect the ACTUAL charges to be? you actually have to have a legitimate law broken to file charges against someone....

and, btw, dd...since you seem intent on bringing up my past traffic record w/duis, which i've addressed here before by saying i've regretted & paid dearly for......yes, i accepted my sentence; did two weeks in county & never been behind a wheel since because of the scare.....
i certainly didn't ever expect my family nor friends to start trying to make excuses, identify specific 'special circumstances' unique for my particular situtation or try to place blame on others or various things to detract & deflect attention away from my gross negligence in the matter.....i was GUILTY of drunk driving! plain & simple.
i personally made apologies to the families & was forgiven by them. Thank God. ... Even if i would not have been, i'd accept their disdain, which, i'm sure there still is plenty from others not involved that i'm not aware of~~ and i totally understand & i deserve.

Heard today that coach has decided to become a monk. Moving to Tibet. AD is in discussions with Tressel to take over special super dooper secret AD advisory position on pranks. Tressel has been quoted saying "Elida's program might be more fun to watch than Akron's so I'm considering the move". Rumor has it that next coach must either be related to AD or close friends with a family member. I assure you my sources are much better than the ones Rocket uses.

Their loss...seems like a good coach and at least a decent person considering the turnout he had last year and the support from his players.

If Elida would release this coach it would smooth over ONLY if the football team won 7 or 8 games next year. If back to recent past Elida records would happen then put Diglia on a bigger hot seat that HE DIRECTLY SITS ON. On the other hand, if they can keep this guy in place one of two things will happen. Football success: everything blows over. Football unsuccessful and the statement would read: We would like to thank Coach Carpenter for bringing Elida Football back to the level expected in this community. Now it has become obvious that to take the program to the next level, we need to make a change......................
