I am slowly compiling my list. I don't think the current 10-page length is enough in order to go into the depth of awkward injuries I have suffered.

The kick to the groin reminded me of the one I've been trying to block out since it happened.

I was a sophomore in high school, and we were playing soccer in gym class. But since it was raining outside we ended up playing "line soccer" basically where everyone stands in a line and one person tries to score by getting it past them all. So one of the few actual soccer players in the class is shooting, ball comes my way. Really fast. Instead of going with my first instinct and getting the h*** out of the way, I stood there and tried to stop it like a hero. I stopped it alright. I also couldn't sleep on my stomach for a week because the pain was so severe after it hit me right in the grapes.........

listening to ESPN's Sports Center Saturday and this is one of their topics of discussion.... and Lord, do i have a bunch to contribute!! lol

i'll start with just one though.....

i was anticipating a phone call, & while using the lgr (little girls' room), the phone rang... in haste, uhm.... went to 'finish business' and hit my nail (acrylic) on the toilet seat & TOTALLY ripped it off the base of my finger bed...the acrylic nail WITH my natural nail attached!!!

Just curious-how long did it take to grow the nail back? (sounds painful)

Trust me- the aging process is doing you some serious harm. That is why you wouldn't take the challenge and 'Climb the rope' last time I was over your way!!

7th grade. Broke my left wrist by rolling/falling out of bed in the middle of the night. :bag: Missed the remaining 75% of the junior high football season that year.

You realize that the concept of a Hillbilly running around barefoot is simply a stereotype, right Dog? When kicking your dog, (Whether in your trailer or in your grassless yard) it is exceptable to leave your boots on.
