Kaizen, why dont you talk to my husband about the issue. He's the one that does all the maintenance/electrical work, and he will give you the facts that you need, and the truth you need to hear.

build a bus garage and furnish it with class rooms. sounds like job security - no offense but if a new school is built we wont need all this maintenance, thus a reduction in manpower??? never happen. but we will need another operating level in the near future. the cost is not worth the benefit unless you are part of a union or in a public employee situation. I could never vote for a school levy no matter what it is for. issue 2 was a start to equalize the playing field, the unions got the vote out so now we will have to live with unreasonable pensions and insurance benefits for ALL public employees.

Although I strongly disagree, it is apparent that you feel that all teachers are over paid babysitters. That's too bad but I guess you have a right to your opinion. However I don't understand how teachers will get rich from funds for a new building. Regardless it is my opinion that a yes vote is the responsible choice both economically and for our future.
