Two words to live by that could probably make his life a whole lot simpler: grow up!

Well, I suppose we could talk about whether he actually did knee somebody in the groin... Or is the standard now 'Two accusations and you're out'?

1. Where there is smoke, there is fire. Carpenter repeatedly makes poor decisions that lead to him being accused of various infractions. Is malice his intent? Probably not, but it is poor judgement either way, and it has now impacted his job.
or
2. This is a witch hunt. A group of parents, and possibly students, who don't like Carpenter for whatever reason have decided that they are going to put his job in jeopardy by devising a series of fictional events. These events will include several inappropriate acts toward students including "air-humping" and a shot to some poor freshman's stones. Witnesses will also need to be planted so that the events, which never actually took place, seem credible.
Now you tell me, which seems more plausible? From an outsiders point of view, option #1 is the most likely scenario. Option #2 requires way too many people to be in cahoots, and for all of them to remain silent about what is really going on.

That's why I said "allegedly" and used a question mark. Thus, giving him the benefit of the doubt

And yet you finished by saying 'I can't see that there is really anything to talk about', and the accusation itself was clearly enough to change your opinion on the matter.

I think this a good description of the events......except I disagree it's one of two things....I think it's both.

Good point. There likely is a group who is out to get him (name me a high school football coach who doesn't have that kind of group) and he is making it way too easy for them.
