I would think Bath is a tough place to coach because of the parents. I've never seen or heard of a group of parents complain so much about the coaches in their community. I hope things change because they do have some talent, and coaches that want to win but its hard when parents undermine the program and coaches. Good luck to Coach Davis and the boys! You played a very talented Defiance team tough- you'll be alright. Keep your heads up and listen to your coaches! They have the best interest in the "team"

This is a tough one. I think he has about 5 kids of similar talent, and three that should get the most minutes, (Davis, Heffner, and Tarin Sullivan.) The five have what seems like equal doses of talent and shortcomings. A couple are a little slow defensively, one has a poor left hand, one hesitates too long when a guy is open under the basket, two can't seem to box out. At the same time, these same players have positive qualities that have earned them playing time.
I saw a couple of disappointed parents and I can understand it. The level of talent of all these players seem pretty similar to me

Last night was more of a letdown from defiance, which will be a good coaching moment i bet.

I heard the same thing fan wise. I was listening on the Defiance station, and there were plenty of times I heard cheering. Every time I figured that must be Bath doing something good.......then I heard the name of a Defiance player that made a shot. The Defiance fans it sounded like on the radio outdid the Bath fans in their own gym....not sure how it was actually at the game.
Impressed by what I heard with Bath though. Defiance got a little sloppy up 17, but Bath hit some huge shots to get back in the game, and then traded blows with them for a while. Like it has been all season for the Dogs, great free throw shooting and hitting some clutch shots ended up winning the game for them....but they definitely got all they could handle from a Bath team that is much better than I thought.

LB won game handily. It was 50-27 going into the 4th. I saw a lot of one on one basketball from Bath.

What do you want? I said this has to be Bath's best team in many years. I would peg Bath for about 4th or 5th in the WBL this year. Sorry if my gym comment riled you, but the visitor's bleachers are terrible, and while the students were polite, I don't know why they're allowed to block the stairway area. I was also told there is no way easy way to get under the stands, even though feet can easily slip through without being careful, and coats easily fall underneath. As for the Defiance gym, you won't get much argument from me.
