Actually only 6 of them were scored on Gerdeman. Mando pulled him after the sixth. wink.gif

5 were scored on him.....and i think everyone excpet for one was a 1v1 with gerdeman and the cory rawson player. Cory rawson did do a good job at finishing though.

PCL POY. wow since when did arguing over how many goals were scored on gerdeman and talking about cody maxwell have anything to do with the poy. if you want to talk about those subjects start a new descusion untill then stick to the topic at hand.

this year in the pcl has been prety strange. my pick will be between brandon miller, scott chandler, ben miller. if they go by stats brandon miller has the best chance out of anyone. he is probably leading pcl with most goals scored. ben miller was unlucky this year. his defence left him out to dry so many times that it made him look bad. he is a good enough keeper though to pull through and save his defences mistakes. scott chandler was hurt for the first half of the year with a back injury. it looks to me like he is feeling better. he hasnt been doing much scoring for his team but helps distribute and play defence. goodluck to all.

Hey Treky,
I believe that this is the topic at hand. Someone, maybe neutralcorner, yea, said that he was his POY. so i just came up with an argument against it. thats all. it was a matter of how many goals were scored on him, so if you have a problem with this discusssion, then maybe you should start a new one smile.gif

ANYWAY, if i had to give out a POY, it would probably have to go to Brandon Miller. My reason, he has just had the most impact this year for his team and has a lot of goals.

i heard the guy from kalida had a great season with 30 goals i think...? maybe... mite be wrong.. i think that Hermiller and Erford had a very good year...Erford moved back to defence bout 1/2 the year bc of the center defender being injured. Hermiller had a great year in the midfield if he was ON u cant relly tell wat he couldnt do...

Just wondering if your post was a prediction or what really happened?

Yea really, where is this commin from? I know both Miller and Kleman both had a fairly good season but i never would have guessed Kleman as the POY!
I know the guy too, The One and only, and he didnt have any where close to 30. He had maybe around 16?

if that post is correct i think kleman as well as miller deserves poy kleman stepped up as a leader on his team to help some of the young inexperienced players come into their own and miller had a good season that helped his team become a force in the pcl

Nicely said for your first post Beav! Your right, Kalida has had to bring younger, inexperienced players to play on the varsity stage. Kleman has definatly stepped up to become a leader on that team. Hopefully that leadership shines along with the others on the team to take down MC in the touney tomorrow!
Vivan los gatos de Kalida!

Im not saying that Brandon Miller from ottoville should not get POY, but goals are not the only thing that matters in the runnings, Miller could have won the PCL for Ottoville but lost it for them with his bad judgement during the FJ game!

Dont forget that was brandon millers first time ever playing goalie.
1 mistake the whole game is good for playing a team like jennings

Ya you can't really bash the kid for making one mistake against a high quality team like jennings when it was his first time in goal.

GOLDEN- Ryan Kleman winning Co-Player of the year came as a shocker to us Kalida fans as well........BUT.........i will say Kleman is VERY DESERVING of this award.........

I say that because of the presence that he is on the field.......without a doubt one of the leaders of the Kalida team....and being only a SOPHMORE that is saying something.......

I cannot count the number of crucial goals Kleman has contributed to this year for the wildcats (from making that important through ball or free kick to scoring when he is presented the opportunity)........the majority of their offense runs through him on one way, shape or form.......

It takes a special kind of player to be only a Soph. and have coach Czubik call on you in crunch time and make a PK or something like that..............

But like I said .........Ryan Kleman sharing the award is a shocker but it is not unwarranted......

it is obvious that this award was not based solely on stats (if that was so Brandon Miller would have one hands down), but rather this award pays some due respect to players that mean the most on their respective teams.............

CONGRATS RYAN KLEMAN AND BRANDON MILLER..............you both deserve it

do they deserve it?
yes I'm sure they do, but I also think that there is about 5 other players that deserve it!!!
