The biggest biker party around gets underway the last weekend in July at Wetzeland near Van Wert, Ohio....

Little Texas opens the entertainment on Friday July 30 and then one of the biggest country rock acts
in history takes to the stage Saturday night July 31..........Lynyrd Skynyrd........

If you've ever heard any of the stories that come out of this party you know what I'm talking about

the cost seems reasonable at $40 for the entire weekend........are there any RC members planning on going
and would you be willing to share some stories?.......RM

Rocketman With all due respect you have your dates wrong. Little Texas opens up on Friday the 29th not the 30th and Lynyrd Skynard plays on Saturday the 30th not the 31st.

I will be taking an adventure that way on m bike for a great show!!!

Glad to see Wetzeland bring in a "southern rock band" as we called them in hotlanta! I've seen them a bunch of times and if they put on their normal concert show Wetzeland will be rockin'!!! To bad we have a race that weekend or I might stop out.

A few members of the Wetzel MC were in Wannamakers Tavern Sunday afternoon ironing out some final details for the run Saturday afternoon.......
I believe that Dane and the boys will also be serving up breakfast again this year........

We won't be making it again this year, but I hope they have good weather for their party..........RM

I can see it now.....

A fight breaks out in the allie....gets pushed inside and gets pushed through the 1/4 inch walls.....a head breaks through a toilet. Soon recovering, the group breaks pool sticks on the pool tables and begins throwing glasses at each other. In the midst of this death and destruction, somebody was kind enough to slide some dollars in to look up Lynyrd Skynyrd and have it playing in the background.
