and now you can officially add me to the list of skeptics.........sorry guys, but
I can't see how this will sell anywhere.....

you told us earlier that this league could/might/will be a stepping stone for
players trying to reach the next level.......

I will be shocked if this team makes it through a full season........RM

Not many teams throughout the entire ABA play 15 games in a season.

so they are paying Jamar 30K for a 15 game season that will be lucky to draw 500 people a game?
not a very good business model..........

Jamar is going to make $30 grand? I wonder if this is upfront money or over thecourse season........whenever that is.

I'm guessing Jamar attended and never graduated from The Ohio State University.

I haven't seen the home schedule . However, it seems to me they will have to up against local high school and college games not to mention the buckeyes. I do not see a bright future in this market for this product.

Before I read this I thought it was going to be about an AAU team based out of Lima.

Who's next, Isaac Bowers?..............someone earlier on this thread was right, this isn't semi pro or a stepping stone to the NBA, it is an alumni team of washed up former Lima area high school stars.

There has been a flurry of recent activity. Could Tiger or someone post an updated roster?

wow, you aren't kidding. NOBODY is going to pay to watch this team play other than parents, brothers, sisters and maybe grandma and grandpa.

Wish I could say I didn't see this coming, but for the amount of time needed to dedicate for this and the pay involved; I just couldn't see this being verfy enticing to many former college ball players. I don't wish any ill will towards the organization but at the end of the day, you have an ongoing District 8 all-star alumni game on your hands. With that being said, I would like to check out a game, but just do not see it becoming habit forming

Stick a fork in this venture. Its done unless someone with lots of cash can use a writeoff.

Maybe they could get Jeff Jarvis to take it over....he would just build a new 30,000 seat dome that could be used for basketball, baseball and football and some indoor sprint car events. Everything he touches seems to work out.....I'm sure he could figure out a way to do this right too.
